I hereby notify you of my decision to terminate contract number relating to the Apify service. This notification constitutes a firm, clear and unequivocal intention to cancel the contract, effective at the earliest possible date or in accordance with the applicable contractual notice period.
I kindly request that you take all necessary measures to:
– cease all billing from the effective date of cancellation;
– confirm in writing the proper receipt of this request;
– and, where applicable, send me the final statement or balance confirmation.
This cancellation is sent to you by certified email. The sending, timestamping and integrity of the content are established, making it equivalent proof meeting the requirements of electronic evidence. You therefore have all the necessary elements to process this cancellation properly, in accordance with the applicable principles regarding written notification and contractual freedom.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;
– and confirm to me the effective deletion of data in accordance with applicable rights regarding privacy protection.
I retain a complete copy of this notification as well as proof of sending.

What is Apify
Apify is a cloud platform for web scraping, web automation, and data extraction that provides prebuilt “Actors”, custom script hosting, and platform credits for running jobs. It is commonly used for data collection, prospecting, and automating repetitive web tasks.
The service is billed on a subscription and usage basis (platform credits and pay-as-you-go usage) and is managed from the Apify web interface.
How to cancel Apify
- Sign in to your Apify account at the web interface and go to your Billing settings; you must use your account password to log in and perform cancellation (Pricing & billing).
- From Billing, choose to downgrade or cancel your subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle and the subscription will not renew.
- Be aware cancellation must be done through the Apify web interface (not by email or phone) per the terms (Terms).
- To preserve evidence or for a separate legal notice, you may additionally send a registered letter (raccomandata A/R) to the company’s registered address in Prague (see Address section below).
- Note: there is no clear public documentation about subscriptions managed via App Store or Google Play, so assume management is via Apify’s web platform unless your purchase explicitly came through a store.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle; after that date it will not renew. Any prepaid platform credits included with the plan are subject to Apify’s policy and typically expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over.
If you incur excess platform usage (for example, extra Actor runs or proxy usage) during the final billing period, you may still be charged for that usage even after submitting cancellation. Keep an eye on final invoices after the cancellation takes effect.
Will I get a refund?
Under Apify’s General Terms (effective January 12, 2026) fees are generally non‑cancellable and non‑refundable unless a specific exception is stated. Apify does not commit to cash refunds for paid fees, account cancellation, or plan downgrades in normal circumstances (General Terms).
