Cancellation Fancentro: Easy Method
What is Fancentro
Fancentro is a subscription-based platform where creators sell access to premium content, direct messaging, and membership tiers to fans. Creators set their own prices and the platform manages subscriptions, payments, and account settings for members and creators.
How to cancel Fancentro
- Cancel in your account: log in, go to your avatar → Subscriptions → select the subscription → tap the three dots → "Cancel subscription" → submit. You should receive an email confirming the cancellation. See the official guide: Cancel a subscription.
- If your Fancentro account has been deleted, sign in at Centrobill (centrohelp.com), go to Subscriptions, use the gear icon on the membership and choose "Cancel membership". See: Centrobill cancellation.
- Written notification: the Terms of Service allow written notifications. If you prefer a formal notice, send a conventional registered mail ("raccomandata A/R") to CentroBill Ltd at the address in the Address section below. Keep proof of posting and tracking.
What happens when you cancel
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing for that subscription; it does not automatically delete your Fancentro account. Access to paid content typically continues for the remainder of the paid period but will not renew. Deleting your account removes access immediately but does not cancel existing subscriptions - those must be cancelled separately to avoid continued charges.
Will I get a refund?
Fancentro’s stated policy is that subscription fees are fully earned when paid and there are no refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods. Refunds and credits may be granted only at Fancentro’s sole discretion and, if approved, are typically issued as account credits or returned to the original payment method per their terms. There are timing and method limits for refund requests (for example, credit card refund requests are evaluated within 120 days of the transaction and other methods within 90 days), and all refunds remain subject to technical feasibility and platform discretion. See the terms: Fancentro Terms.
Fancentro plans and pricing
| Plan | Price (CAD) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Creator-set subscriptions | Varies | Creators set USD prices (commonly from US$0.99 to US$50+ per month); local CAD amounts depend on the creator’s USD price, current exchange rates and applicable taxes. Fancentro does not publish fixed CAD pricing publicly. See terms: Fancentro Terms. |
Your consumer rights in Canada
Under Canadian consumer protection frameworks, platform-stated refund policies do not necessarily eliminate other remedies available to consumers. While digital subscriptions often have limited statutory refund rights, you retain options such as disputing unauthorized or continuing charges with your credit card issuer (chargeback). Credit card chargebacks are available where charges are unauthorized or billing persists after cancellation, subject to the issuer’s procedures and timelines. If you believe charges breached Canadian consumer protection rules, you may also seek advice from provincial consumer protection offices or legal counsel.
Customer experiences
User reviews are mixed. Some users report straightforward cancellations and helpful support, especially for simpler account issues. However, many complaints online describe difficulty cancelling subscriptions, continued billing after cancellation, unexpected price changes, and frustration from creators over missing earnings, content access problems after platform migrations, or slow support responses. These experiences suggest keeping clear records and monitoring bank statements after cancellation.
Documentation checklist
- Account email and username; subscription name and start date.
- Screenshot of your subscription status or the cancellation button and the confirmation email after cancelling.
- Payment receipts or bank/credit card statements showing charges (transaction dates and amounts).
- Any correspondence with Fancentro support (dates, ticket numbers, replies).
- If you send written notice, a copy of the registered mail receipt and tracking number.
Common mistakes
Avoid these common errors: deleting your Fancentro account without first cancelling subscriptions (account deletion does not stop billing); failing to save the cancellation confirmation email or screenshot; assuming refunds are automatic - Fancentro’s policy states no refunds for partial periods; and not checking the payment method statement after cancellation. Also, relying solely on verbal or informal messages to creators or support without written confirmation increases the risk of continued charges.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| In-account cancellation (avatar → Subscriptions → Cancel) | Generally no (refunds at platform discretion) | Easy |
| Centrobill cancellation (via centrohelp.com after account deletion) | Generally no (refunds at platform discretion) | Medium |
| Deleting your Fancentro account (without cancelling subscriptions) | No - deletion does not cancel subscriptions | Easy but risky |
| Written registered mail to CentroBill Ltd (formal notice) | Generally no (may support disputes; refunds subject to policy) | Hard (formal process, requires proof of posting) |
After cancelling
After you cancel, expect a confirmation email; keep that email and any screenshots as proof. Monitor your bank or credit card statements for one or two billing cycles to confirm no further charges occur. If you are charged after cancellation or do not receive confirmation, contact Fancentro support and keep records of all communication. If unresolved, consider filing a dispute with your card issuer for unauthorized or continuing charges.
