In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;
– and confirm to me the effective deletion of data in accordance with applicable rights regarding privacy protection.

What happens when you cancel
After Kaplan receives your written notice, they will process cancellation under the terms that apply to your program or test. Access to courses, classes or online platforms may be suspended once cancellation is processed; any scheduled lessons or services beyond the cancellation effective date will not be delivered. Kaplan will handle refunds, materials return or prorating according to the published rules for the campus or test product you booked.

Will I get a refund?

For Toronto programs, if you cancel within 7 days of the enrollment contract and before the program starts, Kaplan refunds 100% of tuition and related fees (application fee excluded). If you cancel more than 30 days before start, Kaplan retains 10% of tuition (maximum CAD 1,000); if less than 30 days before start they retain 20% (maximum CAD 1,300). For Vancouver programs, Kaplan refunds 100% of tuition and related fees if canceled before the program start (application fee excluded).
If a student is a “no-show” during the first 30% of the program, Kaplan retains 50% of tuition (materials may be refunded if not yet provided). If a study permit/visa is refused before 30% of the program would have been delivered, Kaplan refunds 100% of tuition and related fees (excluding application fee). Kaplan states refunds are issued within 30 calendar days after receiving notice of withdrawal, visa refusal or after a “no-show” determination; materials fees are refundable post-arrival if materials have not been provided, prorated by unused weeks where applicable.
For IELTS registrations, refunds follow a tiered schedule: cancelled more than 14 days before the test - 75% refund; cancelled 14 - 5 days before - 50% refund; within 5 days of the test - no refund unless a valid medical certificate is provided.
