You therefore have all the necessary elements to process this cancellation properly, in accordance with the applicable principles regarding written notification and contractual freedom.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;
– and confirm to me the effective deletion of data in accordance with applicable rights regarding privacy protection.

What is Morningstar
Morningstar is an investment research firm that provides data, analysis and tools on stocks, mutual funds, ETFs and other investment products. In Canada, Morningstar has historically offered a Premium membership with advanced screeners, proprietary research and ratings alongside free content for registered accounts.
As of April 17, 2025, Morningstar discontinued new Premium memberships and moved toward a free registered account model; existing subscribers and legacy agreements may still be subject to older terms.
How to cancel Morningstar

What happens when you cancel
