The sending, timestamping and integrity of the content are established, making it equivalent proof meeting the requirements of electronic evidence. You therefore have all the necessary elements to process this cancellation properly, in accordance with the applicable principles regarding written notification and contractual freedom.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;
– and confirm to me the effective deletion of data in accordance with applicable rights regarding privacy protection.

Cancellation Textme: Easy Method
What is Textme
TextMe is a mobile app that provides phone numbers, calling and texting capabilities, and in-app credits or subscriptions for unlimited use and additional features. It is available on iOS, Android (Google Play), and the Amazon Appstore and relies on each platform’s billing systems for subscriptions and in‑app purchases.
How to cancel Textme
- Subscriptions cannot be cancelled from inside the TextMe app. Cancel through the app store you used to subscribe:
- iOS (App Store): Open the App Store, tap your profile, choose Subscriptions, find TextMe and tap Cancel.
- Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select TextMe and Cancel.
- Amazon (Kindle/Amazon Appstore): Open the Amazon Appstore app or your Amazon account subscriptions, locate TextMe and cancel the subscription there.

- If you’re unsure which store was used to purchase, check the receipt emailed to you, your payment history in the App Store/Google Play/Amazon account, or the payment method that was charged.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a subscription through the app store, auto‑renewal is stopped and your subscription will typically remain active until the end of the current billing period. You retain access to subscription features for the remainder of that paid period unless the store’s policy states otherwise. Your TextMe account and its data (messages, settings, number) generally remain available unless you separately delete the account; deleting the account does not halt store billing. If you want to remove your account data after cancelling, you must follow TextMe’s account deletion process separately.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds for purchases made through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store are handled by Apple or Google, not directly by TextMe; you must request refunds through the respective store’s refund process. TextMe’s own refund policy notes that subscription purchases are not refundable or prorated after purchase. For Android purchases, TextMe allows users to email contact@go-text.me to request a refund within 30 days of purchase (with additional limitations: refunds are not available for purchases older than 60 days and an item may be returned only once). Always check the store receipt and store refund pages first, and expect that subscription renewals are generally non‑proratable.
