Cancellation Domestika: Easy Method
What is Domestika
Overview
Domestika is an online learning platform focused on creative topics such as illustration, design, photography and more. It offers single-course purchases and a subscription option called Domestika Plus.
The service is internationally available and sells courses via its website and through mobile in‑app purchases on iOS and Android.
Products
Users can buy individual courses for lifetime access or subscribe to Domestika Plus for rotating benefits and credits. Payment and fulfillment routes differ by platform (web vs app stores).
Billing, cancellations and refund handling vary by purchase channel (web, Apple App Store, Google Play).
How to cancel Domestika
Web (Domestika Plus subscription)
If you subscribed on Domestika’s website cancel from your account settings before the next recurring payment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Sign in at your Domestika account on the website.
- Go to Account Settings → Subscriptions (or similar) and choose Cancel subscription.
- Cancel before the next billing date to avoid an additional charge; access continues until the period ends.
- See Domestika’s official refunds and exchanges policy: Domestika refunds & exchanges.
Mobile apps (iOS and Android)
Subscriptions or purchases made through Apple or Google must be cancelled through those stores. Domestika cannot directly cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions for you.
- iOS: Open Settings or the App Store app, tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → find Domestika → Cancel.
- Android: Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → find Domestika → Cancel.
- Step-by-step guides about cancelling via app stores: How to cancel Domestika (postclic).
What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
For web subscriptions, cancellation usually ends renewal but preserves access until the paid period expires. You can continue using the service until that date.
For in‑app subscriptions, access typically continues until the end of the billed period managed by Apple/Google.
Renewal and account data
Auto‑renewal stops after cancellation but previously charged amounts are not automatically refunded by Domestika for subscriptions.
Your account and course progress remain in Domestika unless you request deletion; check account settings or support for data removal options.
Will I get a refund?
Web purchases and one-time courses
One‑time course purchases made on the web (card/PayPal) are eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 calendar days of purchase, but access is revoked after refund.
This is stated in Domestika’s terms and refund policy: Domestika Terms and refunds & exchanges.
Subscriptions, trials and in‑app purchases
Domestika Plus subscriptions and free trials generally have no refunds once you start accessing the content; immediate access can forfeit withdrawal rights.
In‑app purchases and subscriptions through Apple/Google must be refunded via those platforms; Domestika cannot control those refunds. See Domestika’s refund policy for details: support article.
Domestika plans and pricing
Pricing table
| Plan | Price | Period | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual Course (via iOS In-App Purchases) | ₹199 - ₹9,999 | One-time purchase | Single course purchase; access to lessons and certificate |
| Domestika Plus - 1 Month (via iOS In-App Purchase) | ₹1,999 | monthly | Plus membership - access to rotating free courses, certificate, monthly credit |
| Domestika Plus (In-App) | ₹1,299 | Unclear | Listed as Domestika Plus in the app listing; period not explicitly labeled |
Pricing sources and notes
Prices above are taken from in‑app listings observed in the Indian App Store as summarised in available material. Web and Android prices may differ.
Interpret the ₹1,299 entry with caution: the app listing did not clearly label a billing period for that line item.
Your consumer rights in India
Relevant law
Indian consumer protections (Consumer Protection Act, 2019) expect clear disclosure and refunds when services fail to match descriptions. Digital content delivered immediately can complicate withdrawal rights.
Immediate access or consuming digital content often limits statutory 14‑day withdrawal rights in practice.
Suggested actions for Indian consumers
- If you were charged without clear consent, request a refund from Domestika and your payment provider (bank/UPI) promptly.
- Consider a bank/UPI chargeback or dispute of the transaction where evidence shows lack of disclosure or unauthorised renewal.
- If unresolved, file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline or escalate to the online Consumer Commission.
- For in‑app purchases, contact Apple or Google Play for refunds and disputes; Domestika does not control those refunds.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Some users praise Domestika for good training value and course quality, reporting helpful content and reasonable prices for many courses.
Trustpilot shows reviews noting "great training at a very nice price" and course usefulness: Trustpilot Domestika reviews.
Negative feedback
Many reviews report issues with promotional pricing that appears cheap but converts into auto‑renewing yearly subscriptions without clear consent.
Users also report unexpected auto‑renewals, unauthorized charges and difficulties obtaining refunds or human customer support: Trustpilot complaints.
Documentation checklist
What to collect
- Order confirmation email, receipt or invoice showing date, amount and payment method.
- Screenshot of subscription details in your Domestika account or App Store/Google Play subscription page.
- Any promotional page or screenshot that indicates a different price or trial terms.
Where it helps
- Bank/UPI dispute or chargeback processes often require receipts and evidence of unauthorised renewal or missing disclosure.
- Consumer complaint bodies or courts will expect clear documentation of purchase terms and support communications.
Common mistakes
Before cancelling
Not checking where you subscribed. Cancelling on the website will not stop an App Store or Google Play subscription and vice versa.
Always verify whether the charge came from Domestika directly or from Apple/Google and cancel in the correct platform.
After cancelling
Assuming cancellation triggers an automatic refund. For most subscriptions Domestika’s policy does not provide refunds after access has begun.
Not saving receipts or screenshots. Lacking documentation makes disputes and chargebacks harder to resolve.
Comparative recap
At-a-glance
| Platform | How to cancel | Refund route | Control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web (Domestika site) | Account settings on Domestika website | Domestika handles web refunds (14‑day rule for one‑time purchases) | Domestika controls billing and cancellations |
| iOS (App Store) | Apple ID subscription settings in the App Store | Request refunds via Apple (App Store support) | Apple controls billing and refunds |
| Android (Google Play) | Google Play subscriptions in Play Store | Request refunds via Google Play support | Google controls billing and refunds |
Key differences
Web purchases give Domestika the obligation for refunds under their terms, while app purchases are governed by app store policies.
Always cancel in the same channel used to purchase to avoid continued charges and to route refund requests correctly.
After cancelling
What to check
- Confirm cancellation email or account notice showing subscription end date.
- Verify no further auto‑renewal charges appear on your card, Apple ID or Google Play account.
