Cancellation Kiwico: Easy Method
What is KiwiCo
Overview
KiwiCo is a subscription service and retail shop that sends hands-on STEM, art and culture project crates for children and families.
Each crate contains materials and instructions for an age-specific project designed to teach skills through play.
How KiwiCo subscriptions work
Subscriptions can be monthly auto-renewing, multi-month auto-renewing (3, 6, 12 months), or non-renewing fixed-term purchases.
Billing is handled in the currency shown at checkout on KiwiCo’s site; third-party import prices in INR may appear on retail platforms.
How to cancel KiwiCo
Cancel via account portal (recommended)
- Sign in to your KiwiCo account and open your subscription settings.
- For monthly auto-renewing plans: cancel any time after the first crate ships, but do so before 11:59 PM EST the day before your next billing date to stop the next charge. See KiwiCo Terms: kiwico.com/terms.
- Follow on-screen prompts and save any cancellation confirmation for your records.
Cancel by email or special cases
- If you prefer email, request cancellation at least two business days before auto-renewal to avoid the next charge (per KiwiCo guidance).
- If your subscription was purchased through an app store or Google Play, you still need to manage cancellation on the KiwiCo website - billing and cancellations are not handled inside the app stores. Reference: postclic.com.
What happens when you cancel
Future billing and renewals
Cancelling an auto-renewing subscription disables the next renewal; you will not be billed for subsequent cycles if cancellation is completed in time.
For multi-month renewable plans (3/6/12 months), you cannot cancel mid-term; you can only disable auto-renewal for the next cycle per KiwiCo Terms.
Access and shipments
Canceling does not normally retroactively void an already-paid period or shipped crate; you will receive crates already paid for during the active term.
Non-renewing fixed-term subscriptions cannot be cancelled mid-term and remain active until the end of the purchased term.
Will I get a refund?
General refund policy
KiwiCo generally does not offer refunds for renewing or non-renewing subscriptions, bulk-discount purchases, or final-sale items. See KiwiCo Terms: kiwico.com/terms.
Exceptions and damaged items
- Damaged or materially misdescribed items may be returned within 14 days of shipment for a full refund (including delivery fees) if KiwiCo confirms the damage and proper return procedure is followed.
- There is no blanket 14-day cooling-off right for subscriptions - refund rights mainly apply only in the limited case of damaged goods. (See analysis: postclic.com.)
- If you believe your crate was damaged, gather photos, order details and contact KiwiCo promptly via the methods listed in their Terms.
KiwiCo plans and pricing
Pricing note
No official KiwiCo subscription pricing in INR was found in 2024/2025; subscription rates on KiwiCo’s site are shown in USD.
The table below lists promotional or third-party imported kit prices in INR where available. Use live exchange rates for USD subscription conversions. See KiwiCo Terms: kiwico.com/terms.
| Plan | Price (INR) | Period | Features |

Your consumer rights in India
Key points about statutory rights
KiwiCo’s published terms do not provide a general 14-day cooling-off right for subscriptions; refunds are limited mainly to confirmed damaged items returned within 14 days.
Non-renewing fixed-term and multi-month subscriptions are described as non-refundable and not cancellable mid-term under KiwiCo’s Terms.
Local-law considerations
Consumer protection in India may offer additional remedies in certain cases, but KiwiCo’s policy as published applies globally unless local law requires otherwise.
If you believe local consumer law gives you extra rights, keep records and consider seeking local consumer-advice channels for help enforcing them.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Some customers praise the educational, hands-on content of KiwiCo crates, saying the products inspire learning and confidence in children.
Certain reviewers report helpful and prompt customer service in some logistical or replacement cases. See examples: Trustpilot.
Negative feedback
Common complaints include difficulty cancelling subscriptions, unexpected renewals, and frustrations with unclear “cancel anytime” messaging.
International customers often cite shipping delays, unclear tracking, and challenges obtaining refunds or replacements. See discussion: postclic.com.
Documentation checklist
What to collect before contacting KiwiCo
- Account email address and subscription/order number(s).
- Subscription type (monthly auto-renew, multi-month auto-renewing, or fixed-term).
- Next billing date and any proof of payment (bank/credit card statement) showing the charge.
What to collect for damaged-item claims
- Photos of the damaged or misdescribed items immediately upon receipt.
- Shipment date, tracking number and any delivery notes.
- Saved cancellation or support confirmation emails and timestamps.
Common mistakes
Missing the cancellation deadline
Users often attempt to cancel after the 11:59 PM EST cut-off and are surprised by a renewal charge. Always check the next billing date and act at least one day earlier.
Attempting to cancel mid-term or via app stores
Trying to cancel a non-renewing fixed-term or a locked multi-month plan mid-term will usually not stop the paid term; KiwiCo’s Terms prohibit mid-term cancellations for those plans.
If you bought via App Store or Google Play, do not assume the store handles refunds - you must manage subscription settings on the KiwiCo website per available guidance.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
| Subscription type | Can you cancel mid-term? | Refunds available? | How to stop future charges |

| 3/6/12-month auto-renewing | No (cannot cancel mid-term) | Generally non-refundable; damaged items exception | Disable auto-renewal for next cycle in account settings |
| Non-renewing fixed-term | No (cannot cancel mid-term) | Non-refundable; damaged items exception | Let the term end; do not renew |
After cancelling
