Important warning regarding service limitations

Postclic is an independent third-party service, with no affiliation, partnership, or representation link with the brand Photogrid. The use of the brand name is strictly for reference and descriptive purposes, in order to identify the mail recipient. Postclic exclusively offers a mail drafting assistance service and a certified, timestamped, and tracked digital mail sending service. If your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the cancellation must be done directly with those platforms.

In the interest of transparency and prevention, it is essential to recall the inherent limitations of any dematerialized sending service, even when timestamped, tracked and certified. Guarantees relate to sending and technical proof, but never to the recipient's behavior, diligence or decisions.

Cancellation Photogrid: Easy Method

What is PhotoGrid

Overview

PhotoGrid is a photo and video collage app that offers templates, editing tools, video collages and premium features such as watermark removal and HD exports.

How it is sold

Subscriptions and in‑app purchases are offered through platform stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) and via the PhotoGrid web account system.

How to cancel PhotoGrid

iOS (App Store) cancellation

  • Open iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
  • Find PhotoGrid and Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends; cancellation takes effect at period end.
  • Do not attempt to cancel inside the PhotoGrid app - Apple manages iOS subscriptions.

Android (Google Play) cancellation

  • Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Select PhotoGrid and Cancel; deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
  • Confirm cancellation in the Play Store UI; some users report charges continuing when cancellation was not fully processed.

Web (photogrid.app) cancellation

  • Check account or subscription settings on your PhotoGrid web account (photogrid.app) for a cancel option.
  • If no option is available, email support with your purchase details to request cancellation: support@photogrid.app or photogridapp.feedback@gmail.com.
  • Keep copies of your support request and any replies until the cancellation is confirmed.

What happens when you cancel

Access after cancellation

Cancelling stops future renewals but generally keeps premium access until the paid period ends.

You will lose premium features once the current billing period expires.

Account and data

Your PhotoGrid account and any saved projects typically remain unless you separately delete the account or content.

Export any important projects before expiry if you need local copies or backups.

Will I get a refund?

Apple App Store refunds

  • Refunds are handled by Apple and are not guaranteed.
  • PhotoGrid states refunds are not typically available; use Apple's "Report a Problem" portal to request a refund.

Google Play and Web refunds

  • Google Play refunds depend on Google Play policies and dispute outcomes.
  • For web purchases, PhotoGrid does not publish explicit refund terms - contact support with purchase evidence to request a refund.
  • Overall PhotoGrid’s stated position is that refunds are not available after purchase; exceptions may occur through app‑store mediation.

Your consumer rights in India

Refund and platform rules

There is no explicit public 14‑day refund right for PhotoGrid in India per PhotoGrid’s published position.

Refunds for in‑app purchases are governed primarily by the platform (Apple or Google), not by PhotoGrid.

Escalation options

  • Keep receipts, screenshots, and subscription status as evidence when requesting refunds.
  • If the platform denies a refund, you may contact your bank for a chargeback or file a consumer complaint with the appropriate forum.
  • Public complaints and forum posts have reportedly led to resolutions in some user cases.

Customer experiences

Positive feedback

  • Users praise PhotoGrid as a capable photo editor with good layout tools, filters and templates.
  • Some reviewers note the free version is useful and the app is efficient for casual editing and printing tasks.

Negative feedback

  • Many complaints about misleading "free trial" offers that resulted in immediate charges and refund difficulty.
  • Reports exist of cancellations not always stopping charges, and of difficulty contacting support for refunds.

Documentation checklist

Essential documents to gather

  • App store receipt or email confirmation containing the transaction ID and amount.
  • Screenshots of your subscription status page showing active/expired state.
  • Records of cancellation attempts (screenshots of Play Store or App Store cancellation screens).

Supporting evidence for disputes

  • Bank or card statement lines showing the charge.
  • Copies of emails or support tickets sent to PhotoGrid (support@photogrid.app, photogridapp.feedback@gmail.com).
  • Dates and times of unwanted charges and any automated receipts.

Common mistakes

Deleting the app instead of cancelling

Removing the PhotoGrid app does not cancel subscriptions on Google Play or the App Store.

Always cancel through the store’s subscription settings rather than uninstalling.

Canceling inside the app on iOS and late cancellations

On iOS, cancelling inside the PhotoGrid app will not stop payments - Apple manages subscriptions.

Also avoid cancelling at the last minute; follow the 24‑hour recommendation for App Store subscriptions.

Comparative recap

Quick platform comparison

Platform Period Cancellation method Refund likelihood
iOS (App Store) monthly / annual / Weekly Cancel via Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions (24‑hour rule). Handled by Apple; refunds not guaranteed.

Web (photogrid.app) One-time / Variable Cancel in web account settings or email support with purchase evidence. No clear public refund policy; contact support to request refund.

After cancelling

Immediate checks

  • Confirm the subscription status in the relevant store (App Store / Play Store) shows cancelled or not renewing.
  • Monitor your bank or card statement for one more billing cycle to ensure charges stop.

Next steps if charges continue

  • Resend cancellation evidence to support (include receipts and screenshots).
  • If unresolved, contact your bank to request a chargeback and consider filing a consumer complaint with local authorities.
