Cancellation Rocketreach: Easy Method
What is RocketReach
Overview
RocketReach is a SaaS search platform that helps users find professional email addresses and phone numbers for prospecting, recruiting and outreach.
It is subscription-based with individual and team plans, and users access lookups and exports through a web interface.
Primary uses
Common uses include lead generation, sales outreach, recruiting and enrichment of CRM records.
RocketReach offers browser integrations and CSV/CRM export features to streamline workflows.
How to cancel RocketReach
Cancel via the web (self-serve plans)
- Log in to your RocketReach account on the web.
- Go to Manage Subscriptions → Cancel Subscription.
- You should receive an on-screen confirmation and an email confirmation after cancellation.
App store and custom/enterprise cancellations
- If you purchased via the App Store or Google Play, cancel through Apple/Google; RocketReach cannot cancel those charges for you.
- Custom or Enterprise plans require written cancellation: contact your Account Manager or email sales@rocketreach.co or support@rocketreach.co with at least 30 days' notice.
What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
Access typically remains active until the end of your current billing period.
Your lookup and export allotments usually remain usable until the subscription expiry date.
Renewal and data retention
Auto-renewal stops after cancellation for web subscriptions; App Store/Google Play renewals must be turned off through those platforms.
Account data (search history, saved lists) is usually retained per RocketReach policies; export any data you need before account termination.
Will I get a refund?
Standard refund policy
Payments for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the term has started.
There is no automatic 14-day cooling-off refund entitlement stated by RocketReach for ongoing subscriptions.
Exceptions and how to request one
- Refunds are rarely issued; exceptions (for example, duplicate charges) require prompt documentation.
- To request a refund, collect evidence (screenshots, billing statements) and contact support promptly via the channels provided by your plan.
- Even with evidence, refunds are not guaranteed and are handled case-by-case.

Your consumer rights in India
Cooling-off and digital subscriptions
India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 provides protections for e-commerce buyers and a general 7-day cooling-off right for online purchases in some cases.
That right may not automatically apply to digital subscription services unless explicitly stated by the seller.
Filing complaints and escalation
- If you face unexpected charges or non-delivery, you may file a grievance with the Consumer Forum or use the National Consumer Helpline.
- Document dates, screenshots and correspondence to support any formal complaint alleging unfair trade practices (e.g., hidden auto-renewals).
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
- Users praise a clean, intuitive interface and fast onboarding with LinkedIn/Chrome integration.
- Many report strong performance sourcing accurate business emails, particularly for US contacts.
Negative feedback
- Frequent complaints about aggressive auto-renewals, unexpected charges and difficulty obtaining refunds.
- Data accuracy and privacy concerns appear in reviews: outdated contacts, bounced emails and challenges removing personal data.
- Customer support is criticized for slow or unhelpful responses in some cases.
Documentation checklist
What to save before you cancel
- Subscription start/renewal dates and billing receipts or statements.
- On-screen cancellation confirmation and confirmation email (screenshot or PDF).
- Records of lookups/exports you need (CSV exports) and any account data you wish to keep.
Evidence for disputes
- Screenshots of unexpected charges and payment processor records.
- Email threads with support or the Account Manager and any written cancellation acknowledgements.
- Any error messages or service interruptions with timestamps.
Common mistakes
Relying on in-app assumptions
Many users assume cancelling in the web app also cancels App Store or Google Play subscriptions; it does not.
If you subscribed through Apple or Google, always cancel in that store to stop renewals charged by them.
Waiting too long to act
Delaying contact after an unexpected renewal reduces the chance of a refund, since RocketReach treats current-period payments as non-refundable.
Prompt documentation and contact improve the chance of a successful dispute or exception.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison table
| Item | RocketReach | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cancellation method | Web self-serve; App Store/Google Play via those stores; written for Enterprise | Different channels required depending on purchase method |
| Refund likelihood | Generally non-refundable for current period | Exceptions rare and reviewed case-by-case |
| Customer support | Mixed reviews on responsiveness | Keep records to escalate if needed |
| Data accuracy | Good for many US business emails; variable elsewhere | Expect some bounced or outdated contacts |
After cancelling
Immediate next steps
Export any data you need and save confirmation of cancellation for your records.
Verify that auto-renewal is off in your billing method or app store if applicable.
