Cancel Multcloud: Easy Method
What is Multcloud
Service overview
MultCloud is a cloud-to-cloud management service that lets you connect, transfer, sync, and manage files across multiple cloud storage accounts from a single interface.
It supports services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and many others, and offers free and paid plans with different monthly or annual data traffic allowances.
Main uses
Common uses include migrating large volumes of data between cloud providers, scheduled syncs, and centralised file management without downloading to a local device.
MultCloud is offered as a web app and as mobile apps distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
How to cancel Multcloud
Cancel via the MultCloud website (web purchases)
- Sign into your MultCloud account on the web.
- Click the "Purchase Traffic" button in the upper-right of the site.
- Open the invoice and select "More details about the privileges" to find the option to cancel.
- Cancel the subscription; it will remain active until the current period ends, then your account reverts to the free tier.
- More details: MultCloud sales FAQ.
Cancel App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) subscriptions
- Apple App Store (iOS): Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → select MultCloud → Cancel Subscription. MultCloud cannot cancel App Store subscriptions for you.
- Google Play (Android): Open the Play Store app → Account → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → select MultCloud → Cancel subscription. MultCloud cannot cancel Google Play subscriptions for you.
- Guides and references: In-app purchase refund guidance.
What happens when you cancel
Account access and features
After cancellation, your paid subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Once the current period expires, your account will revert to MultCloud's free tier and paid features will stop.
Data and transfers
Your connected cloud accounts and files remain in each cloud provider; MultCloud does not delete the source or destination files when you cancel.
Any scheduled tasks or paid-only transfer traffic allowances will stop when the paid subscription ends.
Will I get a refund?

Your consumer rights in New Zealand
Key legal guarantees
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and be fit for purpose.
Businesses cannot contract out of these rights, so "no-refund" terms do not override statutory guarantees.
Remedies and how they apply
- If MultCloud's service is faulty or not fit for purpose you may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, or refund under the CGA.
- Consider contacting MultCloud support first, then escalate to New Zealand consumer protection if unresolved.
- General reference: Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (summary).
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Many users praise MultCloud's customer support as helpful, fast and professional, naming agents who resolved issues quickly.
Users also report success migrating large volumes of data efficiently and find the tool clever and effective for big transfers.
Negative feedback
Some users report problems adding certain cloud services, encountering 2-factor or parameter errors that persist.
Other complaints include interface and sync issues, in-app purchase recognition problems on mobile, delayed responses, and difficulty obtaining refunds for in-app purchases.
Documentation checklist
What to prepare before cancelling
- Account email and username used with MultCloud.
- Invoice or purchase receipt for the subscription (web or app store receipt).
- Payment processor reference (e.g., PayPal, credit card transaction ID) if purchased on the web.
Evidence to support a refund or complaint
- Order date, plan name, and screenshots of subscription status in the app or web invoice.
- Screenshots of errors or failed transfers, and any support ticket numbers or communications.
- App Store or Google Play purchase receipt for in-app purchases.
Common mistakes
Attempting the wrong cancellation route
Example: Trying to cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription from MultCloud’s website. Those purchases must be cancelled through Apple or Google.
This leads to continued billing if the subscription remains active in the app store account.
Missing or insufficient proof for refunds
Example: Not saving the invoice, app store receipt, or transaction ID before contacting support. This slows or prevents refund processing.
Always capture receipts and payment references at purchase to avoid delays.
