Cancel Dyper: Easy Method
What is Dyper
Overview
Dyper is a subscription-based company that sells single-use baby products, primarily bamboo-based diapers and related supplies. The service is built around recurring deliveries and an eco-friendly positioning.
Products
Products include subscription boxes of diapers, single packs, wipes and accessories. Dyper promotes compostable materials and an online subscription management model.
How to cancel Dyper
Web (dyper.com)
- Log into your account on dyper.com.
- Go to the Account section, select Manage Subscription.
- Choose Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.
- You will receive a confirmation email once cancellation is processed.
Mobile apps (iOS and Android)
- For iOS (App Store): Open the App Store → tap your profile picture → Subscriptions → find Dyper → Cancel Subscription → confirm.
- For Android (Google Play): Open Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → find Dyper → Cancel subscription → follow prompts.
- Note: If you subscribed via an app store, cancel from the store to stop future billing; cancelling on the Dyper website may not stop App Store / Google Play charges.
What happens when you cancel
Access and upcoming deliveries
Cancelling stops future recurring orders from being scheduled once the cancellation is processed. Any shipment already in progress at the time of cancellation may still be dispatched.
Account and data
Your account will remain active to the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated. Dyper retains account and order data per its policies for customer service and record-keeping.
Will I get a refund?
General policy
One-time purchases are not eligible for standard returns, exchanges or credits under Dyper's posted policy.
Subscribers can sometimes request a return or adjustment only when items are unopened and unused; approvals are evaluated case-by-case.
Exceptions and important conditions
- Final sale items are not returnable: single packs, baby wipes, accessories and sale items are typically final-sale.
- If a subscriber misses a cancellation and a shipment occurs, that shipment is generally considered final and the subscriber is liable for return shipping if returning is approved.
- Return shipping costs and label costs are usually borne by the customer unless Dyper approves otherwise.
- The "Redo Free Returns" service was discontinued for new orders placed after January 7, 2026; only orders before that date may still be covered under the old terms.
Dyper plans and pricing
Pricing overview
Exact New Zealand pricing for Dyper was not located. Global site listings show USD prices, but NZ-specific amounts were not found for 2024/2025.
Check local pricing
Always check Dyper's local or regional checkout for final pricing, and confirm currency and shipping before completing an order.
| Plan / Item | Typical price (NZ) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Box (subscription) | Varies | Subscription pricing may appear in USD on global site; check checkout for local currency. |
| Single Pack (one-off) | Varies | One-time purchases are generally final-sale and non-returnable. |
Your consumer rights in New Zealand
Statutory guarantees
New Zealand consumers have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and protections under the Fair Trading Act for faulty, misdescribed or unsafe goods. These rights apply regardless of a seller's posted policy.
Remedies under NZ law typically address goods that are defective, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Change-of-mind and cooling-off
There is no universal 14-day unconditional "cooling-off" period under NZ law for online purchases; businesses may offer their own return windows but Dyper's public policy does not reference a NZ-specific 14-day right.
If you believe statutory rights apply, keep records, contact Dyper first and if unresolved seek advice from New Zealand consumer protection services.
Customer experiences
Positive reports
Customers praise Dyper for a soft, absorbent fit, strong leak protection and an eco-friendly, bamboo-based approach. The website and compostable service are also frequently appreciated.
Negative reports
Some users report diapers feeling wet faster, fraying when very wet, being bulky and sometimes underperforming overnight. Others note potential ongoing cost concerns relative to value.
Documentation checklist
Before contacting Dyper
- Order number and date.
- Account email or username used for the subscription.
- Screenshots of your subscription settings or cancellation attempt.
- Confirmation emails or billing statements showing charges.
If you escalate or seek a refund
- Photos of the product condition (if claiming fault).
- Tracking numbers and shipment dates.
- Any correspondence with Dyper support, with timestamps.
- Payment receipts showing which payment provider was used (card, App Store, Google Play).
Common mistakes
Timing errors
Customers often try to cancel after a shipment has already been processed; once a shipment is in transit it may still be charged as final sale under Dyper policy.
Another timing issue is cancelling via the wrong channel - App Store or Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled through the respective store, not always via the Dyper website.
Misunderstanding returns
Expecting a change-of-mind refund for final-sale or opened items is a common error; Dyper lists many items as non-returnable and charges for return postage when returns are allowed.
Assuming a 14-day automatic refund under NZ law is also a mistake; statutory remedies relate mainly to faulty or misdescribed goods rather than change-of-mind.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
This table summarises key points to check when cancelling or requesting refunds from Dyper, and what to verify before you act.
What to verify
| Topic | Dyper policy | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| How to cancel | Online via account; App Store and Google Play via their subscription settings. | Cancel through the same channel used to subscribe; confirm cancellation email. |
| Refunds & returns | One-time purchases not eligible; unopened subscriber items may be considered case-by-case. | Check item final-sale status and get approval before returning; buyer pays return shipping unless approved. |
| Final-sale items | Single packs, wipes, accessories, sale items typically final-sale. | Do not expect returns for these items unless explicitly authorised. |
| NZ consumer rights | Not referenced explicitly in Dyper policy. | Know your NZ rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act for faulty or misrepresented goods. |
| Pricing clarity | NZ-specific pricing not publicly listed; global prices shown in USD. | Confirm currency, tax and shipping at checkout for local cost; save receipts. |
| Customer feedback | Mixed: positive on sustainability and fit; negative on overnight performance and cost. | Consider trial or single pack (if available) to test performance before committing to long-term subscription. |
After cancelling
Confirmations to expect
After a successful cancellation you should receive a confirmation email. Keep this for your records and to contest any future charges if necessary.
Monitor your bank or card statements and the App Store / Google Play billing to ensure recurring charges have stopped.
Further actions
- If you believe you were wrongly charged, contact Dyper support with your documentation and payment details.
- If unresolved, you can contact New Zealand consumer protection resources for advice: consumerprotection.govt.nz.
- For App Store or Google Play disputes, contact Apple or Google through their support channels for subscription billing issues.

Notes on mailing
