Cancel Just Workout: Easy Method
What is Just Workout
Overview
Just Workout (also referenced as JustFit/Just Workout) is a fitness service offering guided workouts, programmes and subscription access via mobile apps and web accounts.
It provides short, structured sessions aimed at habit-building and convenience, delivered through app content and account-based subscriptions.
How the service is delivered
Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or directly on the JustFit website using PayPal or card.
Content and membership features depend on your chosen plan and the platform used to subscribe.

- Cancel the subscription from your profile or account management page. You must cancel more than 24 hours before renewal.
- Direct web purchases may allow refunds under the provider’s money-back policy (see Refunds section).
- Deleting the app or removing payment details does not cancel an active subscription.
What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
When you cancel a subscription through Apple, Google or the website your access generally remains active until the end of the paid period.
You will not be charged again after cancellation (provided it was processed before renewal), but features continue until expiry.
Data and account status
Your account and any saved progress or settings may remain on JustFit servers after cancellation unless you request deletion.
Contact support if you want account deletion or data removal; keep copies of correspondence for proof.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds for web purchases (direct via JustFit)
If you purchased directly on the JustFit website and cancel within 30 days of initial purchase and before the end of the subscription term, you are eligible for a full refund.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically take up to 14 days to appear.

Your consumer rights in New Zealand
Legal protections
New Zealand consumer law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act) may provide additional rights beyond the app’s stated policies.
These laws cover acceptable quality and truthful representations of services, which can support refund claims if services are misrepresented.
When NZ law may help
- If the service was misrepresented (for example a promised free trial that resulted in immediate charges) you may have grounds for a refund under NZ law.
- If you paid but did not agree to or use the service and the provider fails to respond, NZ consumer protections could support a refund claim.
- Seek independent legal or Citizens Advice Bureau guidance for formal disputes; keep records of all communication and transaction receipts.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Some users report the app offers short, easy workouts that help build confidence and routine.
Positive comments focus on convenience and value for beginners who want quick sessions.
Negative feedback
- Numerous complaints about being charged after attempting cancellation or difficulty cancelling subscriptions.
- Reports of misleading free trial claims, poor customer service responsiveness, and trouble obtaining refunds.
- Some users say workouts lacked customization, had unclear videos, or mismatched captions.
- Sources include customer reviews and Trustpilot listings: Trustpilot.
Documentation checklist
What to collect before contacting support
- Proof of purchase (receipt, bank or card statement showing the charge).
- Subscription ID or invoice number from the app or website.
- Screenshots of subscription settings showing active status or attempted cancellation.
- Any email receipts, confirmation messages, or chat transcripts with JustFit support.
Additional useful items
- Dates/times of cancellation attempts and renewal dates.
- Device details if cancelled via Apple or Google (Apple ID, Android account email).
- Copies of refund requests made to Apple or Google if applicable.
Common mistakes
Deleting the app instead of cancelling
Many users mistakenly delete the app and assume their subscription is cancelled. Deleting the app does not stop billing.
Always cancel via your Apple ID, Google Play account, or the JustFit website.
Timing and incorrect channel
Another common error is trying to claim a refund from JustFit for an App Store or Google Play purchase - refunds for those purchases must be requested from Apple or Google.
Also, failing to cancel at least 24 hours before renewal can result in another billing cycle.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
The table below summarises cancel and refund routes for each purchase channel to help you choose the right action quickly.
Recap table
| Purchase channel | How to cancel | Refund route | Timing requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store | Cancel via Apple ID Subscriptions in Settings or App Store | Request refund from Apple (Apple may consider refunds within 30 days) | Cancel at least 24 hours before trial/end of period |
| Google Play | Cancel via Subscriptions in Google Play Store | Request refund from Google Play | Cancel at least 24 hours before trial/end of period |
| Web (PayPal / card) | Cancel via your profile on the JustFit website or app account settings | Full refund possible if cancelled within 30 days (processed to original method) | Cancel more than 24 hours before renewal; within 30 days for refund eligibility |
After cancelling
What to expect next
After a successful cancellation you should receive a confirmation email or on-screen confirmation; keep this as proof of cancellation.
Your access usually continues until the end of the paid period; monitor bank statements to confirm no further charges.
