Cancellation Teamup: Easy Method
What is Teamup
Overview
Teamup is a shared calendar and scheduling platform designed to help teams, businesses, and organisations coordinate schedules, manage memberships, and accept bookings.
It is subscription-based, with multiple plan tiers and separate membership features for customer-facing services.
Main uses
Common uses include resource booking, class and appointment management, and coordination across teams with sub-calendars and user roles.
Teamup offers provider-facing tools (for businesses) and member-facing memberships for recurring customers.
How to cancel Teamup
Cancel a calendar subscription (web)
- Only calendar administrators can cancel a paid calendar subscription in a web browser.
- Sign in as a calendar administrator, open Settings → Subscription, and follow the cancel option on that tab.
- See Teamup's cancellation guide: How to cancel subscription plans.
Cancel a membership (web)
- Members with recurring memberships should sign in to My Account → Details → Cancel Membership to stop future recurring charges.
- Prepaid or committed membership plans may require contacting the business that provided the membership; a commitment period may apply.
- Teamup's membership cancellation article: How to cancel your monthly membership.
What happens when you cancel
Access and service period
Subscriptions cancelled via the web remain active until the end of the current billing period.
After the billing period ends, the calendar downgrades to the free plan and paid features become unavailable.
Data and members
Your calendar data remains in the account but access to paid features (sub-calendars, storage, history limits) is lost on downgrade.
Members and bookings generally remain visible according to the limits of the free plan; administrators should export or back up critical data before downgrade.
Will I get a refund?
Standard Teamup policy
Teamup's Terms of Service state that no refunds are provided as a general rule.
Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period; charges already incurred are not usually refunded.
Exceptions and credits
- For annual subscriptions, Teamup may issue a credit for unused time to be used for future subscriptions rather than issuing a cash refund.
- Refunds for special reasons are considered only via support requests and are not guaranteed. See Terms of Service: Teamup Terms of Service.
- If you are a business provider issuing refunds to your own customers, Teamup’s Help Centre has a separate article on how providers can process refunds: How to make refunds.

Your consumer rights in Singapore
Key legal considerations
Under Singapore consumer protection law (for example, the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act), businesses should clearly disclose refund and cancellation terms for digital services.
Lack of clear instructions for cancelling via App Store or Google Play or a blanket no-refund policy may raise compliance concerns if consumers are not properly informed.
Practical steps for Singapore consumers
- Keep records of purchase confirmations, subscription receipts, and any merchant terms shown at time of purchase.
- If you bought via an app store, check Apple or Google's own subscription cancellation and refund rules in addition to Teamup's terms.
- For unresolved disputes, consider contacting consumer protection bodies in Singapore or seek advice from the Consumers Association of Singapore.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Some users report Teamup is easy to use, flexible, and saves administrative time for scheduling and membership management.
Positive comments often highlight quick setup and useful calendar-sharing features.
Negative feedback
Other users report problems with cancellation, slow or unreliable behaviour, and difficulties in the native app experience.
Several public reviews describe frustration with cancellation steps or with customer support response times. See user reviews on Trustpilot for examples: Teamup on Trustpilot.
Documentation checklist
What to gather before cancelling
- Your Teamup account email and calendar administrator access confirmation.
- Subscription receipts, billing dates, and the billing period end date.
- Any membership contract or commitment period details if you are a member of a provider's plan.

Common mistakes
Assuming app-store cancellation is covered
Many users assume cancelling in the Teamup web UI also cancels app-store subscriptions; Teamup documentation does not provide explicit App Store/Google Play cancellation instructions.
Always check your Apple or Google Play subscriptions separately if you originally purchased through those stores.
Not checking commitment or prepaid terms
Members sometimes cancel without checking whether a prepaid or committed period applies; that can mean the provider still expects fulfilment or fees.
If your membership was sold by a local business using Teamup, contact that business for prepaid refunds or early-termination rules.
Comparative recap
At-a-glance comparison
| Aspect | Teamup summary |
|---|---|

| Effect of cancellation | Service stays active until billing period end, then downgrades to free plan |
| Refund policy | No general refunds; credits for unused annual time possible; special refunds by request |
| App store purchases | No explicit in-platform instructions; check App Store/Google Play rules separately |
| Pricing | Multiple tiers (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise); billed in USD and converted to SGD in local summaries |
How to use this recap
Use the table to decide where to start: calendar admin cancels on the web; members use My Account; contact providers for prepaid plans.
