What happens when you cancel

Service access and billing

Once Vox processes your written cancellation, your service end date will reflect the applicable notice period and any fixed-term obligations.

You remain liable for charges up to the official cancellation date and for any arrears or reasonable cancellation fees under the contract.

Equipment and collections

Vox arranges collection of routers and other Vox-owned equipment after cancellation; they provide a free first-attempt collection.

If equipment is not returned, Vox may charge the full replacement value for the hardware.

Will I get a refund?

General refund position

Vox’s public help pages do not state a general 14-day e‑commerce style refund right for services.

Refunds depend on the reason for cancellation, contract terms, and whether any charges were waived initially.

Common exceptions and charges

  • If you cancel within 12 months of activation, Vox may "claw back" previously waived installation/setup charges (i.e. charge you rather than refund).

Termination under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

Under the CPA, individual consumers may terminate fixed-term agreements with at least 20 business days’ written notice.

Termination may be subject to reasonable cancellation fees and payment of any arrears as provided in the contract.
