cancellation Fanfix: Easy Method

What is Fanfix

Overview

Fanfix is a subscription-based platform that lets creators sell memberships and locked content directly to fans. Creators can offer exclusive posts, messaging, and tiers for paid subscribers.

How it is used

Fans subscribe to creators with recurring Memberships and may pay for Locked Content or Direct Messages. Creators manage their pages and subscribers through Fanfix account tools.

How to cancel Fanfix

Cancel via Web (recommended)

  • Log in to your Fanfix account at https://www.fanfix.io/.
  • Go to Account Settings and find your active Memberships.
  • Select the Membership you want to cancel and confirm cancellation.
  • Note: access remains until the end of the current Membership Term.

Cancel by email or mail

  • Email Fanfix at hello@fanfix.io to request account deletion or ask for cancellation assistance; deletion is permanent and irreversible.
  • You may also send postal mail to FanFixApp, LLC (see Address section). Include account email, username, and request details.
  • Always request written confirmation and keep copies of sent messages or postal receipts.

What happens when you cancel

Access after cancelling

When you cancel a Membership, your access to that Membership remains active until the end of the current paid Membership Term.

Auto-recurring billing for that Membership will stop, so you will not be charged for the next cycle if cancellation occurred before renewal cutoff.

Account deletion and data

If you request full account deletion via email, Fanfix will permanently remove your Fan or Creator account; deletion is irreversible.

Retention of other account data or backups may follow Fanfix internal policies; request clarification from Fanfix support if you need specifics.

Will I get a refund?

Fanfix refund policy

Fanfix states that all payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferrable. Membership Fees are not refunded on a pro‑rata basis for mid‑term cancellations.

Payments for Locked Content and Direct Messages are also final and non-refundable.

Exceptions and discretion

  • Fanfix may issue refunds or discounts at its sole discretion in specific cases.
  • If you believe a charge is unauthorized or erroneous, collect documentation and contact Fanfix support and your card issuer promptly.

Fanfix plans and pricing

Available pricing information

No official AED pricing for Fanfix Memberships is publicly available for the United Arab Emirates.

US dollar ranges reported elsewhere are approximate; for UAE pricing, check the app store listing in your UAE account or contact Fanfix directly.

Contact for exact pricing

Plan / Item Price (UAE) Notes
Memberships Contact for pricing Prices vary by Creator and are not published in AED publicly.
Locked Content / Direct Messages Contact for pricing Creator-set; check individual pages or app store in UAE.

Your consumer rights in United Arab Emirates

Cooling-off and refunds

UAE consumer protection rules can include a cooling-off or 14-day withdrawal period for some digital services, depending on the transaction and channel.

Fanfix’s terms state payments are final; this may conflict with local mandatory consumer rights. You may be entitled to remedies under UAE law.

How to escalate locally

  • If Fanfix refuses a mandated refund, consider contacting UAE consumer protection authorities through the official government portal: UAE Consumer Protection.
  • You can also contact your bank or card issuer to request a chargeback where charges were unauthorized or continued after confirmed cancellation.

Customer experiences

Common positive outcomes

Many users successfully cancel via Account Settings and retain access until the end of the paid term.

Some creators and fans report smooth subscription management using the web interface when following the correct steps.

Reported problems

  • Complaints exist about being charged after cancellation and difficulty obtaining confirmation.
  • Users report slow or unresponsive support and, in some cases, charges for undelivered content.
  • Some customers claim confusing defaults (e.g., annual plans) and strict "no refunds" policies.

Documentation checklist

What to collect before contacting support

  • Account email address and username used on Fanfix.
  • Transaction dates, amounts, and payment method (last 4 digits of card).
  • Screenshots of Membership pages, Billing history, and cancellation attempts.
  • Copies of sent emails, support tickets, and any replies from Fanfix.
  • Bank or card statements showing the disputed charges.

Use this when escalating

  • Provide all items above when contacting Fanfix, your bank, or UAE consumer authorities.
  • Keep organized records and timestamps to support chargeback or complaint claims.

Common mistakes

Assuming cancellation is immediate

Some users assume cancelling immediately cancels access or refunds. Membership access typically remains until the term ends and refunds are not automatic.

Failing to confirm cancellation

Not saving a cancellation confirmation or failing to check billing cycles can lead to unexpected renewal charges. Always obtain written confirmation.

Missing escalation steps

Users sometimes skip contacting their bank after Fanfix denies a refund. If charges continue despite cancellation, contact your card issuer promptly for a chargeback.
