cancellation Sleep Cycle: Easy Method
What is Sleep Cycle
Overview
Sleep Cycle is a mobile app that analyses sleep patterns to help users wake during lighter sleep phases and improve sleep quality.
Core features
The app offers sleep tracking, audio-based recordings, alarm scheduling and sleep insights. Premium features add advanced tools such as snore detection and additional sleep aids.
How to cancel Sleep Cycle
Determine where you purchased
First confirm whether you subscribed via the iOS App Store, Google Play, or directly on the Sleep Cycle website.
Cancellation steps
- App Store (iOS): Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Sleep Cycle → Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does NOT cancel the subscription. Sleep Cycle cannot cancel or refund App Store purchases. Official guide
- Google Play (Android): Open Google Play → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Sleep Cycle → Cancel. Deleting the app does NOT cancel the subscription. Sleep Cycle cannot process cancellations made via Google Play. Official guide
- Web (direct via website): Log in at app.sleepcycle.com/account and cancel via the account interface (web purchases handled via FastSpring).
- Email/postal (if needed): You can contact Sleep Cycle support at [email protected]; include purchase details. The online account portal is the preferred and fastest method for direct purchases.
What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
When you cancel a subscription it typically remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
After the period ends, Premium features will stop and your access reverts to the free tier unless you resubscribe.
Data and account
Your Sleep Cycle account and historical sleep data generally remain available on the account unless you request deletion.
If you reactivate, previous data is usually retained; verify by contacting support if you need confirmation.
Will I get a refund?
Platform-specific refund rules
- App Store (iOS): Apple handles refunds. Use the "Report a Problem" link on your Apple receipt to request a refund. Sleep Cycle cannot influence Apple’s decision. Sleep Cycle support
- Google Play (Android): If within 48 hours of purchase, request a refund via Google Play Order History → More → Request a refund or Report a problem. If denied, you may contact Sleep Cycle with proof. Google Play refunds
- Web (direct): Cancel via your account, then email [email protected] with the FastSpring receipt and the purchase email to request a refund. A bank screenshot is not sufficient.
Exceptions and notes
Sleep Cycle’s published policies do not explicitly reference a UAE 14-day cooling-off right; refunds depend on Apple/Google rules for store purchases or Sleep Cycle’s review for web purchases.
If you have a dispute, gather receipts and follow the platform or Sleep Cycle web refund process; consider contacting local consumer authorities if unresolved.
Sleep Cycle plans and pricing
Pricing summary

Your consumer rights in United Arab Emirates
What Sleep Cycle states
Sleep Cycle’s policy materials do not explicitly reference the UAE-specific 14-day cooling-off right.
For web purchases, Sleep Cycle requires cancellation before requesting refunds and asks for a valid FastSpring receipt.
Local consumer options
Under UAE consumer protection laws, some digital purchases may have rights, but Sleep Cycle’s policy does not explicitly confirm compliance.
If you believe your consumer rights are not met, contact local consumer protection authorities or the platform (Apple/Google) for assistance.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
- Users report useful long-term sleep insights and effective wake-up timing.
- Appreciation for audio-based recordings and features that helped improve sleep habits.
Negative feedback
- Complaints include aggressive paywalls, locked features that were previously free, and difficulty cancelling subscriptions.
- Other common issues: inaccurate tracking at times, alarm reliability concerns, and dissatisfaction with customer support responsiveness.
Documentation checklist
Essential documents to gather
- App Store or Google Play receipt showing the purchase transaction.
- FastSpring receipt and the purchase email for any web/direct purchases.
- Account email and username used for the Sleep Cycle account.
- Screenshots of subscription status or errors (bank screenshots are not acceptable as a FastSpring receipt).
When contacting support
- Attach the official receipt (App Store/Google Play/FastSpring) and state the requested outcome (cancel, refund, or both).
- Provide dates, device details and order IDs to speed up verification.
Common mistakes
Deleting the app instead of cancelling
Deleting Sleep Cycle from your device does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription and will not stop renewals.
Always cancel subscriptions in the store settings used to purchase the subscription.
Missing required receipts or using wrong channels
For web purchases, submitting a bank screenshot rather than the FastSpring receipt will delay or prevent refund processing.
Contacting Sleep Cycle support for an App Store or Google Play refund is ineffective; refunds for those purchases must be requested through the respective store.
