Cancellation Coursiv: Easy Method
What is Coursiv
Coursiv is an online learning platform and mobile app that offers bite-sized courses, guided lessons and AI-driven learning tools. It provides subscription plans (including in-app purchases through the App Store and Google Play, and website-based subscriptions) to unlock premium content, bundles and unlimited tools.
How to cancel Coursiv
- App Store (iOS): On your iPhone go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions, find the Coursiv subscription and tap Cancel. Note: you may be redirected to a web page for the final cancellation step. See Coursiv support - unsubscribe (iOS).
- Google Play (Android): Open the Play Store → profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Coursiv → Cancel Subscription. See Coursiv support - unsubscribe (Android).
- Web (website-based subscription): Log into your Coursiv account on the website, go to Profile → Settings → Subscription Settings and choose Cancel Subscription. If you purchased via the website but use the app, cancellation is still done through your Coursiv profile. See Coursiv support - web cancellation.
- Email (alternative): Send a cancellation request to support@coursiv.io including your account email and order details; keep a copy of the sent message and any reply.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a paid subscription, the subscription will generally stop renewing at the end of the current billing period. You typically retain access to premium features until that period expires. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not automatically delete your Coursiv account or personal data; account content and progress usually remain unless you explicitly request account deletion. It is good practice to save any work or take screenshots of progress before cancellation if you want an offline record.
Will I get a refund?
Digital content is generally non-refundable once fully delivered, except where local consumer-protection laws provide a right to a refund. Coursiv’s documented policy states digital purchases are usually non-refundable, but website purchases may qualify for a 30‑day "money‑back guarantee" if specific usage thresholds are met and you supply supporting screenshots (for example, minimum days used and minimum guides/modules completed). If you purchased via the website but accessed the service through the app, refund requests are handled by Coursiv support. For Google Play direct purchases you can request a refund by emailing support@coursiv.io with the Google order ID (GPA...); App Store refunds are handled by Apple - submit a request via Apple Support → Purchases & Refunds → Request a refund and Apple will decide the outcome. See Coursiv refund policy and how to apply for a refund.

Your consumer rights in Canada
Under Canadian consumer protection laws, digital goods and subscription services can be refundable if they are not as described, contain defects, or if contract terms are unfair. Automatic subscription renewals must be clearly disclosed and require consent. Requirements that force consumers to provide extensive screenshots or meet onerous usage thresholds to obtain refunds may be considered unfair or unconscionable under provincial statutes. In many provinces, cancelling a subscription must be at least as easy as subscribing; hidden or indirect cancellation paths (e.g., requiring a web-only cancellation after an in-app signup) can raise compliance issues. If you believe your rights were breached, you can contact your provincial consumer protection office for guidance.
Customer experiences
Public reviews are mixed. Many users praise Coursiv’s user-friendly design, concise lessons, interactive courses, audio explanations and practical skill-building; Trustpilot reported a high average score from tens of thousands of reviews. Conversely, there are several complaints on public forums (Reddit, ComplaintsBoard and similar sites) alleging unauthorized recurring charges after low-price trials, difficulty canceling or obtaining refunds, and frustration with refund conditions that require detailed usage evidence. These reports indicate some customers have had difficulty resolving billing disputes without persistent follow-up.
Documentation checklist
- Account email and username used with Coursiv
- Order receipts or invoices (App Store/Google Play order confirmation or website receipt)
- App Store/Google Play order ID (e.g., GPA.… or Apple order number) when available
- Screenshot(s) of billing/charge on your bank or card statement
- If applying for the money-back guarantee: screenshots proving the required days used and modules/guides completed
- Copies of any emails or chat messages between you and Coursiv support
Common mistakes
Users commonly assume deleting the app cancels the subscription - deleting the app does not stop in-app subscriptions billed by Apple or Google. Another frequent mistake is cancelling in one place but failing to get or save a confirmation; always obtain and store cancellation confirmation. Some consumers expect an automatic refund when they cancel; cancellation only stops future billing and does not guarantee a refund. Others contact the wrong party for refunds - for example, contacting Coursiv support when Apple must handle an App Store refund request, or vice versa. Finally, waiting until after a renewed billing cycle to cancel can result in an extra charge because cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| App Store (iOS) | Refunds handled by Apple; user must submit a refund request to Apple Support; outcome decided by Apple. | Medium |
| Google Play (Android) | You can request a refund via Google Play or email support@coursiv.io with the Google order ID (GPA...) for Coursiv to review. | Medium - High |
| Website (Coursiv account) | Refunds handled by Coursiv support; website purchases may qualify for a 30‑day money‑back guarantee if usage proofs meet stated thresholds. | Low - Medium (requires proof) |
| Email to support | Same process as website purchases - handled by Coursiv support, outcome depends on policy and evidence provided. | Low - Medium |
After cancelling
After you cancel, save a copy of the cancellation confirmation and monitor your bank or card statement for any unexpected charges. If you believe you were billed incorrectly, contact support@coursiv.io with your documentation (order IDs, screenshots and receipts). For App Store refunds use Apple Support → Purchases & Refunds → Request a refund; for Google Play you may use the Play Store refund processes or include your GPA order ID when contacting Coursiv support. If Coursiv support does not resolve a clear billing error, consider contacting your card issuer to dispute unauthorized charges and, where appropriate, your provincial consumer protection office.
