Cancellation Fiit: Easy Method
What is Fiit
Fiit is a subscription-based fitness platform offering on-demand and live classes across strength, cardio, mobility, yoga, pilates, spin and more, plus training plans, performance metrics and community features. Memberships are billed monthly or annually and are managed either through the Fiit mobile app (for direct subscriptions) or through platform stores and third-party partners.
How to cancel Fiit
- If you subscribed directly via fiit.tv (direct subscription), you must cancel in the Fiit mobile app: open Profile → tap the Settings cog → Membership → Manage / Manage Membership, and cancel at least 72 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. See Fiit's cancellation guide: How do I cancel my subscription?
- If you subscribed via the Apple App Store, cancel through Apple Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad at least 24 hours before renewal. See: How do I cancel my subscription?
- If you subscribed via Google Play, cancel via the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions; select Fiit and tap "Cancel" at least 24 hours before renewal. See: How do I cancel my subscription?
- If you subscribed through a third party (for example Amazon Billing or a corporate partner), you must cancel through that provider - Fiit cannot cancel on your behalf. For refund policies on third-party subscriptions see: Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a Fiit subscription you retain access to the service until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not necessarily trigger an immediate refund.
How the cancellation is processed depends on where you bought the subscription: direct (Fiit app), Apple App Store, Google Play, or a third-party partner. Fiit’s systems may retain account and usage data per its terms; if you need data removed, check Fiit’s privacy policy and account settings or contact the provider used to subscribe.
Will I get a refund?
If you subscribed directly via the Fiit website/app, Canadian consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal during which you can cancel and obtain a refund. After that 14-day period (or after a free trial ends and the subscription converts to paid), subscriptions are generally non-refundable unless a refund is required by law or exceptional circumstances apply. Free trials must be cancelled before they end to avoid being charged; Fiit’s terms state there is no automatic refund once a trial converts to a paid subscription except where required by law.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund rules are determined by Apple and Google respectively - you must request refunds through those platforms. For third-party subscriptions (Amazon, corporate partners, etc.), refunds depend on that provider’s policy; Fiit cannot process refunds for subscriptions billed by other companies.
Fiit plans and pricing
| Plan | Price (CAD) | Period | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unlimited Monthly | C$29.99 | Monthly | All access - 1000+ (2000+) on-demand classes, 30+ training plans, Fiit Tracker stats, group schedule, performance metrics, game modes, community features, Fiit Perks |
| Unlimited Yearly | C$199.99 | Annual | All access - same features as Unlimited Monthly; billed annually; includes Fiit Perks and member events access |
Your consumer rights in Canada
Canadian consumers who subscribe directly via a website generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal and may cancel and obtain a refund within that period. After the statutory withdrawal period, refunds for unused portions are not guaranteed under Fiit’s terms, though consumer protection laws may create additional rights in some cases.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms control refund procedures and policies. Subscriptions billed by third parties (for example Amazon or corporate deals) must be handled according to that provider’s terms. If a service is not delivered as described or there are persistent technical failures, Canadian consumer protection laws may offer remedies; you can also dispute charges through your payment provider or seek help from provincial consumer protection agencies.
Customer experiences
Long-time users commonly praise Fiit’s motivating trainers, broad class variety (including mobility, strength, yoga, pilates, spin, and postnatal workouts) and tiered difficulty levels from beginner to advanced. Many members value the training plans, performance metrics and community features.
At the same time, reviews frequently cite issues with unexpected charges, difficulty cancelling, delayed or no refunds, and inconsistent customer service responses. Users also report occasional technical problems such as app crashes, freezing mid-workout, broken cancellation links, and unclear renewal notifications. These mixed experiences mean it’s important to keep clear records when you cancel.
Documentation checklist
- Subscription confirmation email or receipt (Fiit, Apple, Google Play, or third-party)
- Date you subscribed and billing period / next renewal date
- Screenshots of your active subscription page or cancellation attempt in the app
- Payment method statement showing the charge (card or bank statement)
- Your Fiit account email/username
- Any support ticket or correspondence reference if you contacted customer service
Common mistakes
Many problems happen because people try to cancel with the wrong provider - for example attempting to cancel a subscription billed via Apple or Google through Fiit's website. Another frequent mistake is missing the cancellation window (Fiit direct subscriptions require cancellation at least 72 hours before renewal per their guidance; app-store subscriptions typically require 24 hours). Users also sometimes assume a cancellation is complete without checking for a confirmation email or screenshot, or expect an automatic refund after a renewal when Fiit’s terms state renewed periods are non-refundable except as required by law.
Technical issues - such as broken cancellation links, app crashes during cancellation, or unclear settings - can complicate the process. If the in-app route fails, document your attempts and use the appropriate store (Apple/Google) or third-party provider to cancel and request support.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Direct (Fiit via fiit.tv / Fiit mobile app) | Refund available within the 14-day withdrawal period; generally non-refundable after that except as required by law | Medium - cancellation is via the app but reviewers report occasional technical or processing issues |
| Apple App Store | Refunds handled by Apple - request via Apple’s report-a-problem or account purchase history | Low - managed through Apple account subscriptions interface |
| Google Play | Refunds handled by Google Play - request via Google Play purchase history | Low - managed through Google Play subscriptions |
| Third-party (Amazon, corporate partner, etc.) | Refund and cancellation governed by the third-party provider’s policy | Medium - High - depends on the provider and contract terms |
After cancelling
Keep your cancellation confirmation, screenshots and receipts until your billing period ends and for a short time afterward in case you need to dispute a charge. If you need Fiit’s official guidance, see the cancellation article: How do I cancel my subscription? and the refund policy: Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?.
