Cancellation Ufc: Easy Method
What is Ufc
UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is a global mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion that offers live events, pay-per-view (PPV) numbered cards, Fight Night broadcasts, and an on-demand library of past fights and exclusive programming. In Canada, UFC content is available through a mix of direct subscriptions (UFC Fight Pass on the web) and local streaming partners (for example Sportsnet+ and TSN Direct), and mobile subscriptions may be handled through app stores.
How to cancel Ufc
- Via the UFC website (direct purchase): Log into your account at UFC.com, go to Account > Subscriptions or Billing, and follow the cancel option. If you prefer, email UFCTVSupport@UFC.com requesting cancellation and include your account email and order details.
- Via App Store (iOS): Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad → tap your name → Subscriptions → select UFC/Fight Pass and turn off Auto‑Renew. App Store subscriptions must be turned off at least 24 hours before the renewal time to avoid being charged for the next period. More: UFC on the App Store (iOS).
- Via Google Play (Android): Open the Google Play app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select the UFC subscription → Cancel. Cancelling in Google Play stops future billing; your current paid period remains active. See How to view or cancel in-app subscriptions.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a subscription, auto‑renewal is turned off so you will not be billed again after the current paid period ends. For App Store and Google Play purchases, cancelling stops future renewals but you retain access for the remainder of the paid period. For subscriptions purchased directly on UFC.com, cancellation typically becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle; no access is removed immediately unless specified in your account. Cancellation does not automatically delete your UFC account or personal data - your profile and viewing history may be retained unless you request account deletion through support.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds depend on where and when you purchased the subscription. Direct web subscriptions purchased at UFC.com are refundable only if cancelled within 5 days of purchase; the refundable amount equals what you paid minus the cost of a Weekly Pass, and purchases cancelled after this 5‑day window are generally not eligible for refunds. If UFC cancels access to the service, you may be entitled to a prorated refund for the unused portion of your term unless you violated the Terms of Use. For App Store and Google Play purchases, refunds are handled by Apple or Google - UFC cannot directly issue refunds for subscriptions or in‑app purchases processed by the stores.

Your consumer rights in Canada
Canada does not provide a universal statutory right to refunds for digital subscriptions; refunds for online services are generally governed by the merchant’s published policy unless a provincial law provides otherwise. Mandatory cooling‑off rights apply to some specific contracts (for example door‑to‑door or certain in‑person agreements) but do not commonly apply to recurring online subscriptions like UFC Fight Pass. Some provincial rules (for example under Ontario’s Consumer Protection regime) create rights around remote agreements in limited circumstances, including timing for refunds when the law applies, but these do not create a general 14‑day automatic right for digital subscriptions. UFC’s direct 5‑day refund policy for web purchases is a merchant policy that is more generous than the baseline statutory framework and will govern refunds for direct purchases unless a specific provincial law overrides it in particular circumstances.
Customer experiences
User feedback is mixed. Positive reviewers praise UFC Fight Pass for its deep fight library and access to regional live events, saying it offers strong archival value. On the negative side, multiple users report streaming problems (buffering, sync issues, and declines in picture quality), billing problems (overbilling or double charges and difficulty obtaining refunds after payment method changes), and confusing PPV billing where subscribers were still asked to pay extra for certain events. There are also reports of failures to access purchased events, prompting customers to seek alternative providers for major cards.
Documentation checklist
- Account email and full name used for the subscription
- Order number or transaction ID (from UFC receipt, App Store, or Google Play)
- Receipt or screenshot of purchase confirmation
- Date and time of the transaction
- Payment method used (last four digits of card or store account)
- Device and platform used (iOS / Android / Web)
- Screenshots of any error messages or billing entries showing double charges
Common mistakes
Many users expect immediate refunds or prorated credits when cancelling but find that standard practice is to keep access for the remainder of the paid period and not refund partial months unless a specific policy applies. A frequent error is cancelling in the wrong place - for example turning off an account on UFC.com but forgetting to cancel the App Store or Google Play subscription (or vice versa), which can result in continued automatic billing. Another common mistake is missing store‑specific deadlines: Apple requires auto‑renew to be turned off at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Users also sometimes contact UFC support for refunds when the purchase was processed by Apple or Google; in those cases the store must be contacted for refund requests. Finally, lack of documentation (no receipt or transaction ID) can slow resolution when disputing charges.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| App Store (iOS) | Refunds handled by Apple; cancellation stops future billing if turned off ≥24 hours before renewal | Easy to moderate (managed in iOS Settings or App Store) |
| Google Play (Android) | Refunds handled by Google; cancelling via Google Play stops future billing, current period remains active | Easy to moderate (managed in Google Play app) |
| UFC website (direct purchase) | Refunds allowed only within 5 days (amount minus Weekly Pass cost); prorated refunds if UFC cancels service in some cases | Moderate (manage via Account page or support email) |
After cancelling
After you cancel, keep your purchase receipts, screenshots, and confirmation emails in case you need to dispute billing. Expect to retain access until the end of your paid period; check your account page for the exact expiry date. If you need a refund for an App Store or Google Play purchase, use Apple or Google’s refund request process. For direct UFC web purchases, contact support at UFCTVSupport@UFC.com and cite your order ID and purchase date. If you believe you were wrongly charged, contact your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge after you have tried the merchant and store refund processes.
