Cancellation Walkfit: Easy Method
What is Walkfit
Overview
Walkfit is a digital fitness service that provides walking-based workout programs, guided audio sessions, reminders and integration with activity trackers. It is offered as a subscription through web, Apple App Store and Google Play, with program content, progress tracking and optional meal or coaching features depending on the plan.
How to cancel Walkfit
- On Apple App Store: cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the next billing date; deleting the app does not stop the subscription. See WalkFit’s guidance at App Store cancellation instructions.
- On Google Play: cancel in Google Play Store subscription settings at least 24 hours before renewal, or open the app Profile → Manage subscription which redirects to your Google account. See Google Play cancellation instructions.
- On Web: log in to your WalkFit web account (web cabinet) and cancel there, or submit a cancellation request via the contact form; cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle. See Web cancellation instructions.
- Alternative contact: you may also request cancellation by emailing customerservice@walkfit.com or calling customer support at 800-819-6294; include your full name and order number. (Phone hours may vary.)
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a Walkfit subscription it will prevent future auto-renewal; you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current paid billing period. Canceling through the store (Apple/Google) prevents the next charge but does not automatically remove any local app or account data.
Deleting the Walkfit app from your device does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. For account deletion, data retention and any profile removal you should contact Walkfit support directly; policies on account data vary and are governed by Walkfit’s terms and applicable privacy laws.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds depend on how you bought the subscription and the circumstances. Web purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by law or where Walkfit offered a specific 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee; automatic renewals are typically not eligible for refunds. For web-specific money-back claims (for example technical issues or no visible results), Walkfit processes approved refunds via their support form and states processing takes about 3 - 5 business days and access ends immediately if a refund is granted. See WalkFit help centre.
App Store purchases and refunds are handled directly by Apple; if Apple approves a refund your access may end immediately. Google Play refunds must be requested from Google and, if approved by Google, access will end immediately. See the App FAQ for details: Apple refunds and Google Play refunds.
Walkfit plans and pricing

Your consumer rights in Canada
Canadian federal and provincial consumer protection laws can provide remedies even if a seller’s policy says "no refunds." If a digital service is not delivered as promised, is defective, or was marketed in a misleading way, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable laws. There are also rules and guidance around automatic renewals and clear disclosure - companies must not collect payment without providing a straightforward cancellation method.
For digital goods, provincial rules or federal guidance (where enacted) may give you the right to a repair, replacement or refund if the service fails or is not as described. If you believe Walkfit breached consumer protection rules, you may contact your provincial consumer protection office for advice or to file a complaint.
Customer experiences
User reviews are mixed. Many users on Trustpilot report that Walkfit’s programs are well-structured, easy to follow and motivating, praising short workouts, clear voice guidance, reminders and compatibility with trackers. Recent positive reviews frequently highlight convenience and helpful support when issues are resolved.
However, other reviews and complaint forums (Trustpilot, BBB, Reddit) include complaints about subscription or payment problems - overcharging, difficulty canceling, denied refunds and limited access to meal plans - and some users report long or unsuccessful interactions with support. These mixed reports suggest documenting every step when cancelling and pursuing refunds through the appropriate store or support channels if problems arise.
Documentation checklist
- Order number or invoice (receipt), purchase date and method (Apple/Google/Web)
- Screenshot of the charge on your bank/card statement and the Walkfit receipt
- Screenshot of subscription settings showing active subscription and cancellation attempts
- Copies of emails, support tickets, chat logs or call notes including dates and agent names
- Any relevant screenshots showing app behavior, errors or missing services (if claiming technical issues)
Common mistakes
A frequent error is deleting the Walkfit app and assuming the subscription is canceled - App Store and Google Play subscriptions remain active until cancelled in the respective account settings. Another mistake is waiting until after renewal to attempt cancellation; most systems require cancellation at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid the upcoming charge.
People also sometimes contact the wrong party for refunds - Apple and Google handle refunds for their purchases, while web purchases must go through Walkfit support. Failing to keep receipts, dates and screenshots makes disputes harder to resolve.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store | Refunds handled by Apple on request; access ends if Apple approves | Medium (cancel via Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before renewal) |
| Google Play Store | Refunds handled by Google on request; access ends if Google approves | Medium (cancel via Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before renewal) |
| Walkfit Web (web cabinet / contact form) | Web purchases are generally final; exceptions include law or specific money-back guarantees - approved web refunds are processed by Walkfit | Medium (cancel in web account or submit contact form; user reports vary on support responsiveness) |
| Email / Phone support | May request cancellation or raise refund claims, but outcome follows Walkfit’s web policy or store policies | Medium (response times and outcomes may vary) |
After cancelling
After you cancel, verify in the store or your Walkfit web account that the subscription shows as cancelled and keep screenshots of the cancellation confirmation. Check your bank or card statement around the next billing date to ensure no unexpected charges; if you are charged after cancelling, contact the store (Apple/Google) or Walkfit support immediately and provide your documentation.
For refund requests: request refunds from Apple or Google for app-store purchases, or use Walkfit’s web support/contact form for web purchases. See WalkFit’s help resources: App Store refunds, Google Play refunds, and WalkFit help centre. If you cannot resolve the issue, consider contacting your provincial consumer protection office for guidance.
