You therefore have all the necessary elements to process this cancellation properly, in accordance with the applicable principles regarding written notification and contractual freedom.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;

What is Jibjab
JibJab is an online service and mobile app that offers personalized e-cards, videos and animations you can customize with faces and messages. It operates on a subscription model for full access to its premium content, with subscriptions purchasable directly on the JibJab website or through mobile app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play).
How to cancel Jibjab
Which steps you follow depends on where you purchased the subscription. Use the matching method below to turn off auto-renewal or cancel the subscription. If you want a written proof of cancellation, send a copy of your cancellation request by certified or registered mail (tracked) to JibJab’s address listed below.
- Web (JibJab subscription purchased on JibJab.com): Log into your account, go to “My Info” → “Membership” → “Edit Auto-Renewal Subscription.” If no “Edit Auto-Renewal” link appears, auto-renewal is already disabled. Your membership remains active until the end of the paid term.
- Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → JibJab → Cancel.
- iOS (App Store): On your iPhone/iPad go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → JibJab → Cancel Subscription. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Written cancellation (optional for proof): Send a dated, signed letter stating your account email, subscription type and request to cancel auto-renewal to JibJab’s postal address by certified/registered mail and keep the tracking/receipt.
What happens when you cancel
Canceling stops future automatic renewals but does not immediately remove access. Your membership normally remains active until the end of the paid term you already paid for. For App Store subscriptions, the subscription remains active until the end of the billing cycle even after cancellation. JibJab’s systems will mark the account to prevent further charges; however, account data and history are retained according to JibJab’s privacy and data-retention policies - check JibJab’s website for details if you need full account deletion.
Will I get a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on where you bought the subscription. For memberships purchased on JibJab’s website, JibJab’s Help Center states you can request a refund if the purchase was made less than 30 days ago or if a renewal happened within the past 90 days; eligible web refunds are processed within about 3 business days. For mobile app purchases made through Apple or Google Play, JibJab cannot issue direct refunds - refunds must be requested through Apple or Google’s refund processes. JibJab’s Terms of Sale also state that payments are generally non-refundable and no refunds are given for partially used periods except where a specific trial or satisfaction guarantee applies.
