Cancellation Piccollage: Easy Method
What is Piccollage
PicCollage is a mobile app for creating photo collages, cards and simple edits, available on iOS and Android. It offers a free tier plus VIP subscription options that unlock stickers, backgrounds, fonts and remove watermarks/ads.
How to cancel Piccollage
- On iOS (App Store): Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → select PicCollage → Cancel Subscription. See PicCollage guidance: Cancel a free trial or subscription (iOS).
- On Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select PicCollage → Cancel Subscription. See PicCollage guidance: Cancel a free trial or subscription (Android).
- Via the PicCollage app (iOS & Android): Open the app → tap the VIP banner → select “Help Me Get There” → complete the short survey → tap × → tap Cancel Subscription/Free Trial (or note the expiration date if already canceled). See PicCollage help: Avoid an automatic subscription.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, the subscription will not renew at the next billing date; you generally retain VIP access until the end of the paid period or trial. After the subscription expires, premium features (stickers, backgrounds, fonts, ad removal) are locked and the app returns to its free feature set.
Cancelling does not usually delete your PicCollage account or the collages stored on the device - export or back up anything you need before the subscription ends. Any refund or billing reversal is handled by the store that processed the payment (Apple or Google Play), not directly by PicCollage.
Will I get a refund?
All in-app purchases, including free trials and VIP subscriptions, are processed through Apple or Google Play; PicCollage does not process refunds directly. For iOS purchases you must request a refund from Apple via your Apple ID purchase history. For Google Play, refund requests within 48 hours are handled through Google Play; for Google purchases up to 15 days you can submit a refund request to PicCollage but you must include the Google-issued order number (starts with GPA.). See PicCollage guidance: Request a refund and Avoid an automatic subscription.
If you believe the service was misrepresented or you could not reasonably cancel, document your attempts and follow up with the payment provider (Apple/Google) and, if needed, your provincial consumer protection agency.
Piccollage plans and pricing
| Plan | Price (approx., CAD) | Period | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly VIP | C$6.84 (approx.) | Monthly | Full VIP access: stickers, backgrounds, fonts, no watermark/ads |
| Annual VIP | C$49.30 (approx.) | Annual | Full VIP access: stickers, backgrounds, fonts, no watermark/ads |
Note: App Store prices may display in USD (e.g. $4.99/month, $35.99/year) and were converted to CAD using an approximate exchange rate; the App Store may show slightly different rounded CAD amounts (for example C$6.99 or C$49.99).
Your consumer rights in Canada
Canadian consumer protection expects clear, prominent information about free trials, recurring charges and simple cancellation processes for digital services. If an app is not as advertised or makes cancellation difficult, consumers may have a right to a refund or further remedies depending on provincial laws.
Because PicCollage routes refunds through Apple and Google Play, your primary recourse is through the payment provider. Keep records of cancellation attempts and any responses to support a complaint to the payment platform or your provincial consumer protection office if needed.
Customer experiences
Some users praise the free version and the app’s creative tools and personalization options, noting it is easy to create collages and cards. See sample user feedback: JustUseApp reviews and Trustpilot.
Other users report frustrations around auto-subscription, denied refund requests, and pushy trial-to-paid transitions. Technical complaints include crashes, lost collages and slow or glitchy performance. These mixed experiences mean it’s important to document charges and cancellation attempts promptly.
Documentation checklist
- Receipt or purchase confirmation (email or App Store/Google Play purchase history)
- Order number for Google Play purchases (starts with GPA.)
- Screenshots: subscription page showing status/expiration, cancellation confirmation, and any error messages
- Dates and times of cancellation attempts and any correspondence with PicCollage or the app store
- Your Apple ID or Google account email used for the purchase
Common mistakes
Common mistakes include canceling inside the PicCollage app without also canceling in the App Store or Google Play (the store controls billing), forgetting to cancel before a free trial ends and being charged, and failing to save the store-issued order number needed for refund requests. Another frequent issue is contacting PicCollage expecting direct refunds - stores usually handle reimbursements.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| iOS / App Store | Request refund from Apple via your Apple ID purchase history; PicCollage does not process iOS refunds. | Easy (request via Apple) |
| Android / Google Play | Request via Google Play (best within 48 hours). For refunds up to 15 days, you can send a request to PicCollage with the Google order number (GPA.). | Medium (depends on timing and documentation) |
| In-app cancellation (PicCollage app) | Cancels auto-renewal but refunds are handled by the app store; PicCollage may accept Google order numbers for review up to 15 days. | Medium (store-managed billing) |
After cancelling
Confirm your subscription status in the App Store or Google Play and note the expiration date. Export any collages or content you want to keep before premium access ends. If you need a refund, follow the store’s refund process; for Apple use your Apple ID purchase history, for Google Play use the Google Play refund flow or contact PicCollage with the GPA. order number if within PicCollage’s stated window.
