I hereby notify you of my decision to terminate contract number relating to the Planta service. This notification constitutes a firm, clear and unequivocal intention to cancel the contract, effective at the earliest possible date or in accordance with the applicable contractual notice period.
I kindly request that you take all necessary measures to:
– cease all billing from the effective date of cancellation;
– confirm in writing the proper receipt of this request;
– and, where applicable, send me the final statement or balance confirmation.
This cancellation is sent to you by certified email. The sending, timestamping and integrity of the content are established, making it equivalent proof meeting the requirements of electronic evidence. You therefore have all the necessary elements to process this cancellation properly, in accordance with the applicable principles regarding written notification and contractual freedom.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and data protection regulations, I also request that you:
– delete all my personal data not necessary for your legal or accounting obligations;
– close any associated personal account;
– and confirm to me the effective deletion of data in accordance with applicable rights regarding privacy protection.
I retain a complete copy of this notification as well as proof of sending.

Cancellation Planta: Easy Method
What is Planta
Planta is a plant care app that offers reminders, watering schedules, plant identification, a light meter and premium features such as expert help and personalised recommendations to help you care for indoor plants. Premium access is available through monthly, quarterly or annual subscription plans purchased via the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or Planta's web subscription system.
How to cancel Planta
- In the Planta app: open the "My Plants" tab → Settings → Account → Manage Subscription. You will be redirected to the platform you used to subscribe (App Store, Google Play or Planta Web) and must cancel through that platform. Premium access remains active until the end of your paid billing cycle. See Planta's cancellation help: How to turn off auto-renewal or cancel.
- App Store (iOS): cancel via your Apple account / subscriptions settings in the App Store (Apple handles billing and refunds for App Store purchases).
- Google Play (Android): cancel via Google Play → Subscriptions in the Google Play app or website.
- Web subscriptions: sign in at getplanta.com/login to manage or cancel web-based subscriptions.
- Note: deleting your Planta account or app does not stop billing. You must cancel through the billing platform you used (Apple, Google Play or Planta Web).
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel auto-renewal your Premium access remains active until the end of the paid billing period you already paid for; you will not receive a pro-rated refund automatically. After the billing period ends your account will revert to Planta’s free features unless you re-subscribe. Cancelling through the app usually redirects you to the appropriate billing platform, and cancelling on one platform does not cancel subscriptions made on another. Deleting the Planta app or your Planta account does not cancel subscription billing - cancellations must be handled through App Store, Google Play or the Planta web subscription system.
Will I get a refund?
Planta’s Terms state a 14-day contractual right of withdrawal if you have not started using the paid premium services; to exercise this right you must email Planta (see contact details below). Once you have begun using premium services, this 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies. For App Store purchases, Apple handles all refunds and will consider refund requests at its discretion (Apple typically processes refund requests within about 30 days). For Android / Google Play purchases Planta requests that you email contact@getplanta.com for refund enquiries. If you subscribed on the web, refunds are governed by Planta’s terms and must be requested from Planta directly.
