L’envoi, l’horodatage et l’intégrité du contenu sont établis, ce qui en fait un écrit probant répondant aux exigences de la preuve électronique. Vous disposez donc de tous les éléments nécessaires pour procéder au traitement régulier de cette résiliation, conformément aux principes applicables en matière de notification écrite et de liberté contractuelle.
Conformément aux règles relatives à la protection des données personnelles, je vous demande également :
– de supprimer l’ensemble de mes données non nécessaires à vos obligations légales ou comptables ;
– de clôturer tout espace personnel associé ;

What is Prequel
Prequel is a mobile photo and video editing app that offers a range of filters, effects and editing tools, with many premium features available through a subscription (often marketed as Prequel Gold). It is distributed via the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) and a web-based signup path, and some features that were once free are now gated behind its subscription model.
How to cancel Prequel
- On iOS (App Store): Open the App Store app → tap your account icon (top right) → go to Subscriptions → select Prequel → Cancel Subscription. See Prequel support: How to cancel.
- On Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play app (confirm you are signed into the correct Google account) → Menu → Subscriptions → select Prequel → Tap “Cancel subscription.” If your purchase was started via the web (start.prequel.app) it will not appear in Google Play and must be cancelled via the web link provided at signup. - On the web (start.prequel.app): Sign in at the site where you started the subscription (start.prequel.app) and cancel from the web portal; web subscriptions do not appear in App Store or Google Play settings. See Prequel support: How to cancel.
- Important: Deleting the app from your device does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through the App Store, Google Play or the web portal where the subscription was created. See Prequel support: Cancellation and charges.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, the subscription will stop auto‑renewing at the end of the current paid period; you typically retain access to premium features until that period ends. Your Prequel account and any content you created or saved locally remain accessible unless you delete them through the app or account settings. Cancelling via the App Store, Google Play or the web prevents further charges, but does not automatically erase your account or local app data.
Will I get a refund?
Prequel’s stated subscription policy (effective 3 December 2024) says all sales are final and non‑refundable, including unused portions of subscriptions, except where otherwise specified or required by law. Prequel does not directly handle refunds for purchases made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play; refund requests for those purchases must be made to Apple or Google and are subject to their policies. For web‑based purchases, Prequel’s policy allows a refund request within 3 calendar days of the charge by contacting Prequel support with payment receipts and the last four digits of the card; refunds after that window are not considered except as required by law. Your consumer rights in Canada
