What happens when you cancel
Service access and termination
When a contract is cancelled, the service runs until the end of its paid term unless the terms state otherwise.
For domains, disabling auto-renewal causes the domain service to end at the expiration date.
Confirmation and possible revocation
Cancellation is confirmed by email; keep that confirmation as proof.
In some cases IONOS allows quick reversal of an online cancellation via the Contracts & Subscriptions area - check your account immediately after cancelling.
