What happens when you cancel
Access and coverage
Cancellation may end coverage immediately or allow coverage to continue until the end of a paid subscription period depending on how the plan was purchased.
Renewal and billing
Recurring subscription cancellations stop future billing. Single‑pay plans do not renew automatically; cancelling a single‑pay plan triggers a refund calculation instead of renewal.
Data and account
Cancelling AppleCare does not delete your Apple ID or device data. Support and repairs covered by the plan will no longer be available once coverage ends.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds within 30 days
If you cancel within 30 days of purchase or receipt, you are generally entitled to a full refund minus the value of any services already provided under the plan.
Refunds after 30 days (single‑pay)
After 30 days, Apple provides a pro‑rata refund of the original purchase price less a cancellation fee and the value of services already provided.
