What happens when you cancel

Service effect

For canceled recharges, service activation is rolled back and benefits from that recharge stop immediately or when reversal completes.

If a recharge had already activated and you cancel within policy, validity and bundled benefits tied to that recharge will be removed per Jio processing.

Billing and account status

For PostPaid Plus account termination, final bills and any outstanding dues must be settled before refunding deposits.

For prepaid cancellations, your main account/number remains active unless you explicitly disconnect the SIM or request permanent termination.

Data, OTT and add-ons

Bundled OTT subscriptions or add-ons provided by the canceled recharge are revoked when the recharge is reversed or expires early.

If the canceled item included long-term perks (annual plans), those perks will be removed and not prorated unless explicitly refunded.
