Cancellation Ezpay: Easy Method
What is Ezpay
Overview
Ezpay is a payment platform that helps users manage and automate recurring and one‑time payments for services and recharges in India. It provides features such as scheduled payments, wallet balance, and transaction history.
How it is used
Users link payment methods and schedule transactions or perform instant recharges and transfers. Ezpay also maintains an internal Ezpay Wallet to receive refunds and hold balances for on‑platform use.
How to cancel Ezpay
Cancel a single order or recharge (quick steps)
- Open the Ezpay app or web portal and sign in to your account.
- Find the specific order or scheduled payment under Orders/Transactions.
- If the order has NOT been processed, submit a cancellation request from the order page.
- If unsure, contact support immediately (see grievance contacts below) and include order/transaction IDs.
Cancel by email or physical correspondence
- Email Ezpay support with your request, account details and transaction evidence.
- If you prefer a physical notice, send a signed cancellation letter to the registered office address (see Address section).
- Keep proof of delivery and copies of all communications for escalation.
What happens when you cancel
Access and service effect
If you cancel an order before it is processed, the service or recharge is stopped and no further action is taken on that order.
Orders that have already been processed cannot be cancelled; processed services will follow the service provider’s refund rules.
Renewals and scheduled payments
Canceling a single order does not always stop other scheduled payments - check and cancel each active subscription or auto‑payment separately.
Turn off or remove stored payment methods to avoid future automatic charges.
Data and account status
Cancellation of orders does not automatically delete your account or personal data; request account closure separately if required.
Back up receipts and transaction records before requesting account deletion if you need them for records or disputes.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds for cancelled orders
If you send a cancellation notice within 24 hours of order placement and the order has not been processed, Ezpay will cancel the order and refund the full amount. Refunds for such cancellations are processed within 10 - 15 days.
Orders that are already processed cannot be cancelled and typically do not qualify for this full refund window. See Ezpay’s refund policy for details.
Refunds for failed recharges and transfers
- If a recharge or transfer fails (for example, payment deducted but service not delivered within 24 hours), report it to Ezpay support.
- Verified failed transactions are refunded into the Ezpay Wallet within 7 working days.
- Refer to Ezpay’s official refund policy: Ezypay refund policy.
Wallet balance rules
Ezpay Wallet balances are non‑refundable and must be used within the platform under Ezpay’s stated policy.
If you believe a non‑refundable wallet balance conflicts with consumer rights in a specific case, you may escalate via the grievance mechanism or consumer forum (see Your consumer rights).

Your consumer rights in India
Legal framework
Under the Consumer Protection Act and e‑commerce norms, digital services and wallets must disclose clear refund and cancellation terms.
Rights include remedies for undelivered services and fair disclosure of fees; implied warranties require refund options if service is not delivered.
Ezpay grievance mechanism (how to escalate)
- Level 1: Helpline/email - acknowledgment within 48 hours, resolution within 7 days.
- Level 2: Escalation to senior contact - resolution within 7 days.
- Level 3: Escalation to Director - final internal resolution within 7 days.
Escalation beyond the provider
If internal grievance redressal fails, you can file a complaint with consumer fora or the appropriate regulatory authority in India.
For Ezpay’s stated grievance policy see: Ezpay grievance policy.
Customer experiences
Summary of public feedback
Public reviews include patterns of negative feedback around fees, customer service and cancellation difficulty.
There are also users who successfully use the platform; however, verified public review samples show notable complaints.
Common complaints reported
- High or deceptive fees (unexpected load fees, missed-payment fines, exit fees).
- Poor or slow customer service described as unhelpful or robotic.
- Difficulty cancelling accounts or stopping recurring charges; unexpected charge dates.
See public reviews here: Ezypay on Trustpilot.
Documentation checklist
What to prepare before contacting support
- Account username and registered email/phone number.
- Order ID and transaction ID for the payment in question.
- Date/time of transaction, payment method and amount.
Evidence to include for refunds or disputes
- Screenshots of failed service, error messages, or payment confirmation.
- Any correspondence with the service provider showing non‑delivery.
- Proof of delivery for physical correspondence if you send a mailed cancellation.
Common mistakes
Missing the cancellation window
Waiting more than 24 hours to cancel an unprocessed order can forfeit the automatic full‑refund option.
Always check order status immediately after placing a high‑value transaction to allow timely cancellation.
Assuming wallet balance is refundable
Many users mistakenly expect Ezpay Wallet balances to be refunded to bank accounts; Ezpay’s policy states wallet balances are non‑refundable.
If you need funds returned, ask support for exceptional escalation but do not assume an automatic cash refund.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
This table summarizes key cancellation and refund points to help you decide next steps.
How to use this table
Match your situation (unprocessed order, failed recharge, wallet balance) to the row that applies, then follow the recommended action.

|---|---|---|
| Unprocessed order (within 24h) | Full refund; cancellation allowed; refund in 10 - 15 days | Cancel immediately via app/portal and track refund status |
| Processed order | Cannot be cancelled via Ezpay; subject to provider rules | Contact service provider and Ezpay support; gather evidence |
