Cancellation EasyWP: Simple Process

What is EasyWP

Overview

EasyWP is a managed WordPress hosting service operated by Namecheap that simplifies creating and running WordPress sites. It provides a subscription-based platform with plans that include SSD storage and unmetered bandwidth.

Who uses it

EasyWP is aimed at beginners and site owners who want an easy setup, quick site restoration, and a managed hosting experience without deep server management. Plans scale for different traffic needs.

How to cancel EasyWP

Cancel via Web (Namecheap Dashboard / App)

• Sign in to your Namecheap account and open the EasyWP section in the dashboard or the EasyWP app.
• Turn off auto-renewal for the subscription (this lets the site expire at period end).
• Or contact Namecheap Support (live chat or ticket) to request immediate cancellation and site removal.

Cancel via Mobile Store (App Store / Google Play)

• If purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel from the relevant store’s subscription management interface.
• EasyWP’s web documentation does not control store purchases; follow Apple or Google instructions and refund processes in the store.

What happens when you cancel

Access and service continuity

If you turn off auto-renewal, the EasyWP site remains active until the end of the current paid period. You keep access until that date.

Immediate cancellation effects

If you request immediate cancellation via support, the site and its content are removed immediately and permanently. Back up content before asking for immediate removal.

Will I get a refund?

Web (Namecheap) refund rules

Refunds may be available if you cancel within 30 days of the initial sign-up (excluding free trials), or within 24 hours after a renewal.

No refunds apply outside those windows. Refunds do not cover free trial subscriptions, SSL certificates, domain fees, or add-on products.

App Store / Google Play purchases

Refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by the respective store policies.

EasyWP’s web refund rules do not apply to store-managed purchases; contact the store for refund requests there.

Your consumer rights in India

Refund and cancellation rights (contractual)

• Contractual refund window: cancel within 30 days of signup or within 24 hours of renewal to be eligible for a refund (free trials excluded).
• This 30-day window is a contractual policy, not a statutory 14-day cooling-off right.

Mobile store purchases & data loss

• Purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by those stores’ refund and cancellation policies.
• After cancellation (immediate or on expiry), site content may be deleted; back up your site data before cancelling.
• To request immediate cancellation or refunds, contact Namecheap Support (live chat or ticket).

Customer experiences

Positive feedback

Many users praise EasyWP’s customer support as professional, knowledgeable, and responsive via live chat.

Users also report the platform is easy to use, with an intuitive interface and simple site setup or restoration.

Negative feedback

Some users report technical limitations such as caching conflicts, database performance issues, missing free SSL/email on basic plans, and occasional 504 errors.

Others feel constrained by lower-tier plan limitations and report performance concerns when traffic grows.

Documentation checklist

Information to gather before contacting support

• Account email and Namecheap username
• Order ID or invoice number for the EasyWP subscription
• Site URL and EasyWP site identifier
• Payment receipt screenshot and date of charge

Backup and proof

• Full site backup or exported content (WP export, database dump)
• Screenshots of billing and auto-renew settings if disputing a renewal
• Any correspondence with support for reference

Common mistakes

Assuming immediate deletion won’t happen

Example: users sometimes disable auto-renew expecting immediate access; turning off auto-renew leaves the site active until period end, not deleted.

Always check the expiry date and back up content well before that date.

Using the wrong cancellation route

Example: purchases made via App Store or Google Play must be cancelled in that store. Contacting EasyWP web support will not cancel a store-managed subscription.

Check your original purchase method before requesting refund or cancellation.
