How to cancel Printful
Cancel an order via the Printful Dashboard
- Go to the Printful web Dashboard → Orders.
- Open the order you want to cancel and choose "Cancel order" while status is "Waiting for fulfillment".
- Cancellation is allowed only before production starts; once status shows "Being fulfilled" or "Fulfilled" cancellation is generally not possible.
Important cancellation notes
- Cancelling an order on your sales channel (Shopify, Etsy, etc.) does NOT automatically cancel it on Printful; you must cancel in both places.
- There is no cancellation route through App Store or Google Play - use the Printful Dashboard or Help Center.

What happens when you cancel
Order workflow effects
If an order is cancelled before production, fulfillment stops and the order will not be produced or shipped.
If production has started, cancellation is usually not possible and the order proceeds to fulfillment.
Account and data effects
Cancelling an order does not delete your Printful account or stored designs and settings.
Payments already processed may be handled as credits or refunds according to Printful’s policy (see below).
Will I get a refund?
General refund policy (global)
Printful does not offer returns or refunds for buyer’s remorse, wrong size/color, or change of mind; merchants must set those store policies themselves.
For manufacturing issues, Printful will provide a free reprint or refund credited to the Printful Wallet after an investigation.
Defects, misprints and Printful India differences
- For defects, misprints, or damaged items merchants should submit an issue within 30 days of delivery; no return of the item is required for reprints or wallet refunds.
- Printful India allows returns within 14 days for unused items with tags/labels, and refunds are processed after inspection; return shipping is typically borne by the customer.
