If you cancel before the policy start date for a single-trip Travel Infinite policy, cover will not commence and you may be eligible for a full refund.
Once an insurance period has started, cover ends on the cancellation effective date according to policy terms.

Cancelling stops future automatic renewals for the cancelled policy; you will need to re-enrol to regain cover later.
Etiqa retains your records as required by law; request confirmation if you need data deletion or a copy of your file.
Will I get a refund?
Single-trip travel policies
Travel Infinite single-trip policies: full refund of premium if cancelled prior to commencement of the policy.
No refund is available once the insurance period has started for single-trip policies.
Annual multi-trip and exceptions
Travel Infinite annual multi-trip policies: refund is calculated based on unused period using a sliding scale (examples: ~60% if 11 months remain down to ~10% if 2 months remain).
Refund for annual policies is only available if no claim has been submitted and the refund amount is at least S$20.
Pre-trip COVID-19 and statutory cooling-off
- Pre-trip COVID-19 cancellation coverage (Travel Infinite): up to S$5,000 for non-refundable costs if cancelling or postponing at least 14 days before departure.
