Cancellation Faceapp: Easy Method
What is Faceapp
Overview
FaceApp is a mobile and web service that uses AI to transform user photos with filters such as ageing, gender change, hairstyle and makeup. It operates a freemium model with in‑app purchases and web purchases for premium features.
Main features
Paid features generally include advanced filters, higher processing priority and access to a broader set of editing tools. Subscriptions and one‑time purchases unlock the Pro/paid features in the app and on the web.
How to cancel Faceapp
Cancel on iPhone (App Store)
- Open iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID name → Subscriptions, or open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions.
- Find FaceApp in the list and choose Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does NOT stop billing.
- Source summary: steps referenced from the cancellation guide below.
Cancel on Android (Google Play)
- Open Google Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select FaceApp and tap Cancel subscription. Uninstalling the app will not cancel billing.
- For step‑by‑step detail see the external cancellation guide linked below.
Cancel web/Stripe purchases
- If you bought via faceapp.com, use the Stripe Customer Portal link you received by email at purchase to manage or cancel the subscription.
- If you cannot access the portal, contact FaceApp support via the app or website to request cancellation.
- Postclic’s cancellation guide covers web/Stripe guidance and timing requirements.

What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
When you cancel, you typically retain access to paid features until the end of the paid billing period you already paid for. Access ends when that period expires.
Renewal and billing
Cancellations stop future renewals but do not automatically refund the current paid period. Make sure to cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid renewal in some cases.
Data and account
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your FaceApp account or uploaded photos. If you want data removed, request account deletion via the app or FaceApp support.
Will I get a refund?
App Store (iOS) purchases
Refund requests for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies. FaceApp states it is not responsible for refunds on App Store transactions.
See FaceApp’s terms for the vendor stance: FaceApp Terms.
Google Play purchases
Google Play purchase refunds are managed by Google Play under its policy. FaceApp disclaims responsibility for refunds for purchases via Google Play.
Web (Stripe) purchases - exceptions
- FaceApp may consider refunds for web purchases (Stripe) if requested within 7 days and usage is very limited (three images or fewer), according to available guidance.
- After that window or with significant usage, refunds are generally not offered by FaceApp.
- For web purchases, use the Stripe Customer Portal or contact FaceApp support to request a refund.
Faceapp plans and pricing
Pricing summary
App Store listings in Singapore show multiple FaceApp PRO in‑app purchase entries with different prices. Apple’s listing does not explicitly label durations for each price.
Notes on duration
Based on common app pricing patterns, the lowest price (S$7.00) is likely a monthly option and a mid‑tier price (S$42.00) is likely annual, but Apple’s listing does not specify durations. No FaceApp help page details Singapore‑specific plan durations.
| Plan | Price | Period | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| FaceApp PRO (one of the in-app purchase options) | S$7.00 | - | Advanced features via in-app purchase; period not specified on App Store listing |
| FaceApp PRO (another IAP option) | S$42.00 | - | - |
| FaceApp PRO (another IAP) | S$12.00 | - | - |
| FaceApp PRO (another IAP) | S$60.00 | - | - |
| FaceApp PRO (another IAP) | S$99.98 | - | - |
Your consumer rights in Singapore
Refunds and “change of mind”
In Singapore there is generally no automatic legal right to a refund simply because a consumer changes their mind. Retailers may offer refunds as part of their customer service policy, but this is not mandated by law.
Digital subscriptions and defects
Digital subscriptions are typically non‑refundable in Singapore unless the provider’s policy or applicable law requires otherwise. Consumers retain rights against defective services under general consumer protection laws.
FaceApp’s stated position
FaceApp states that purchases via App Store or Google Play are governed by those platforms’ refund policies and that FaceApp assumes no liability for platform‑handled refunds.
Customer experiences
Positive summary
Many users appreciate FaceApp’s quick edits and unique filters that are not found in every photo editor.
Negative summary
Public reviews report several recurring issues, including unavailable advertised features, duplicate or repeated charges, billing continuing after uninstall, and slow or unhelpful customer service responses.
Examples and user reports are collected on review sites; see public review listings for patterns and individual experiences.

Documentation checklist
What to gather before contacting support
- Order receipt or purchase confirmation email (include Stripe or App Store/Google Play receipt).
- Account email address used with FaceApp and screen name if any.
- Subscription platform (App Store, Google Play, or faceapp.com) and purchase date.
- Next billing date or renewal date from your account or receipt.
- Screenshots showing the subscription entry, charges, or error messages.
Useful additional items
- Transaction IDs (from Apple/Google/Stripe receipts).
- Short timeline of events (purchase → problem → cancellation attempts).
- Any prior support ticket numbers or email correspondence.
Common mistakes
Assuming uninstall stops billing
Many users uninstall the app and expect billing to stop. Uninstalling does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription and does not stop Stripe subscriptions created via the web.
Switching platforms
Switching devices or platforms (Android ↔ iOS) does not transfer or cancel subscriptions automatically. You must cancel on the platform where the purchase was made to stop renewals.
Missed cancellation timing
Waiting until the billing date can lead to an unwanted renewal. For web purchases, FaceApp/Stripe guidance indicates cancelling at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid renewal.
