Cancellation Cv Genius: Easy Method

What is Cv Genius

Overview

Cv Genius is a subscription-based service that helps users create CVs and resumes using templates, guidance and editing tools.

The platform is accessed via a web account and may be promoted through mobile app stores; core subscription management is handled on the website.

Who uses it

Users seeking quick, template-based CV creation and simple formatting support commonly use Cv Genius.

The service targets individuals who want a professional CV without building one from scratch.

How to cancel Cv Genius

Cancel via website (recommended)

• Log in to your account on the Cv Genius website.
• Go to "My Account" or "Manage Subscription".
• Select "Cancel Subscription" and follow the on-screen prompts.
• Note: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

App Store / Google Play handling

• There is no separate documented cancellation process for App Store or Google Play.
• Cancellations for subscriptions associated with mobile purchases are managed via the website's "My Account".

What happens when you cancel

Access and service period

After you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current paid billing period unless the service stops immediately upon refund request.

Automatic renewals will be disabled; you will not be billed again after the current period ends.

Account and data

Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation and must be done via "My Account".

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription; cancel the subscription first to stop renewals.

Will I get a refund?

14-day cooling-off period

Cv Genius offers a 14-day cooling-off period consistent with common consumer rights for digital services.

If you contact customer service before the end of the 14-day subscription term a full refund is available; services may stop immediately on notification.

After 14 days

• No refund is available for unused portions of a subscription after the 14-day period.
• Cancellation after 14 days stops future renewals but does not refund prepaid time.

Practical steps to protect your rights

• Request refunds within 14 days if you have not used the service or if it materially differs from its description.
• If issues arise, document communications and escalate in writing via your account support channels.

Customer experiences

Positive feedback

Users praise a user-friendly interface, clean templates, and quick support responses.

Many reviewers highlight the ease of creating a professional CV and useful editable templates.

Negative feedback and warnings

Some users report unexpected charges from auto-renewal and difficulty obtaining refunds for unused services.

Several reviewers advise remembering to cancel before renewal to avoid unwanted charges.

Documentation checklist

What to gather before cancelling

• Account email and username used to subscribe.
• Receipt or proof of purchase (bank statement, app store receipt).
• Date of subscription start and billing cycle details.

What to keep after cancelling

• Confirmation of cancellation from your Cv Genius account.
• Any refund confirmation or support case number.
• Screen captures of subscription settings showing cancellation status.

Common mistakes

Assuming deletion cancels subscription

Many users mistakenly delete their account and assume the subscription is cancelled automatically.

Always cancel the subscription separately in "My Account" before deleting the account.

Missing the cooling-off window

Waiting beyond 14 days removes the right to a full refund for unused time in most cases.

Set a calendar reminder for the refund window to avoid unexpected charges and lost refunds.
