What is Rec Room

Rec Room is a social virtual-reality and cross-platform gaming service where users can play games, create rooms and experiences, and purchase in‑game items and subscriptions such as Rec Room Plus (RR+). How to cancel Rec Room

• On Steam go to your Account Details → Manage Subscriptions → Rec Room Plus → Cancel My Subscription. For consoles (PlayStation, Xbox) cancel via your console account/subscriptions settings. For purchases made via Rec.net or on PC through the website, cancel through your Rec.net settings.
• If you need to contact support for platform-specific help, use Rec Room help resources and the platform’s support/refund process; Rec Room does not process platform-store refunds directly.

What happens when you cancel

Cancelling will stop future renewals of your Rec Room Plus subscription at the end of the current billing period; you will generally retain access to RR+ benefits until that period ends. Your account, game progress, purchased community items and Recroom account data remain unless you specifically delete your account. Purchases made through app stores remain tied to the platform and store account used to buy them. Cancelling does not automatically delete your profile or community content.

Will I get a refund?

Rec Room states that purchases of Rec Tokens and most in‑community purchases are final and non‑refundable except where required by applicable law.
