Cancellation Apex Hosting: Easy Method

What is Apex Hosting

Overview

Apex Hosting is a subscription-based game server provider focused on Minecraft hosting. It offers instant setup, a custom control panel, and 24/7 support for Java and Bedrock servers.

Main services

Services include multiple plan tiers (from basic to high-end), DDoS protection, backups, and optional managed add‑ons. Billing and account management are handled via a WHMCS client area.

How to cancel Apex Hosting

Cancel via the client area (recommended)

• Log in to your Apex Hosting client area (WHMCS) on the Apex website.
• Open a cancellation request ticket: choose whether to cancel at the end of the billing period or request immediate termination.
• Wait for confirmation from Apex support in the ticket; keep the ticket ID for your records.

Cancel third‑party subscriptions (PayPal / Stripe)

• Log in to your PayPal or Stripe account and cancel any active recurring subscriptions to Apex Hosting.
• Do this separately because Apex cannot guarantee stopping payments made through those providers.
• Apex may attempt to cancel via API, but the ultimate responsibility for third‑party cancellation lies with you.

App store purchases

• If you paid via Apple App Store or Google Play, use that store’s refund/cancellation flow; Apex does not manage app‑store refunds.
• Follow the store-specific procedures and time windows for refunds or cancellations.

What happens when you cancel

Access and service termination

If you choose immediate cancellation, your server may be stopped and access removed promptly. If you cancel at the end of the billing period, access typically continues until that period ends.

Billing and data

Automatic renewals stop after cancellation if handled correctly via the client area and third‑party billing services are canceled separately.

Data retention and backups may be removed after termination; do not assume long-term storage unless confirmed by support.

Will I get a refund?

72-hour money-back guarantee (new monthly plans)

Apex offers a 72-hour (three-day) money-back guarantee for new monthly service plans. Refunds must be requested via a support ticket within this window.

Refunds under this policy are allowed only once per client account and have specific conditions.

Exceptions and post-window refunds

• Do not open a payment dispute with your provider; disputes can void the refund eligibility.
• Certain add‑ons (e.g., fulfilled server management), resellers, renewals, overpayments, downgrades, and added funds are non-refundable.
• After 72 hours, refunds are at Apex’s discretion and may be issued as account credit or a return to the original payment method.

How to request a refund

Submit a ticket through the Apex client area within the 72-hour window and include order details and the reason for the refund.

Failure to respond to support within 48 hours may affect your eligibility.

Your consumer rights in India

Key protections

Under Indian consumer protection law (Consumer Protection Act, 2019), refund, return, and cancellation terms must be clearly disclosed at the point of sale.

If a 72-hour refund policy is not adequately communicated, it may be considered an unfair term under Indian law.

App store purchases and store rules

Purchases made via Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by those stores’ refund and cancellation policies. Apex defers to store procedures for such purchases.

Indian consumers should follow the store-specific refund flows and timelines for app-store transactions.

Documentation checklist

Before you cancel

• Order number / invoice ID for the server you want to cancel.
• Client area account email and username.
• Ticket ID for any prior support conversations about billing or refunds.

After you request cancellation

• Save the cancellation ticket ID and confirmation messages.
• Screenshot or export any relevant billing receipts and the client-area cancellation confirmation.
• If applicable, evidence of third‑party subscription cancellation (PayPal/Stripe).

Common mistakes

Not cancelling third-party billing

Many users assume Apex will stop PayPal or Stripe subscriptions. Always cancel recurring payments inside your payment provider to avoid continued charges.

Missing the refund window

Opening payment disputes or missing the 72-hour refund ticket window often voids refund eligibility. Submit refund requests promptly through the client area.

Poor record-keeping

Not saving ticket IDs, invoices, or cancellation confirmations makes disputing errors harder. Keep copies of all communications and receipts.

Quick takeaway

Apex provides a range of tiers from budget to high-end; choose based on modpack needs and expected player count.

Remember to manage both Apex and third‑party billing to fully stop recurring charges.

After cancelling

Follow-up actions

• Confirm cancellation receipt in your Apex ticket history.
• Cancel PayPal or Stripe subscriptions and keep confirmation screenshots.
• Download any server backups you may need before final deletion.
