Cancellation Dbeaver: Easy Method
What is DBeaver
Product overview
DBeaver is a universal database management tool for developers and database administrators. It supports many database engines and provides a SQL editor, metadata browsing, data export/import and visual tools.
Editions and distribution
DBeaver is available in community (free) and paid editions (Lite, Enterprise, Ultimate). Paid editions are sold via DBeaver accounts, third-party storefronts, and mobile app stores.
How to cancel DBeaver
Web (FastSpring / personal account)
- Sign in to your DBeaver personal account or the FastSpring storefront used to purchase the subscription.
- Locate Subscriptions or Orders and choose the active subscription (Lite or Enterprise).
- Select "Cancel" or "Stop auto-renewal" to prevent future charges; subscription remains until the end of the paid period.
Mobile stores (iOS and Android)
- iOS (Apple App Store): Cancel through iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple manages billing and cancellations; DBeaver cannot cancel App Store subscriptions for you. See Apple billing help: Apple billing & subscriptions.
- Android (Google Play): Open Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select DBeaver → Cancel subscription. Google Play handles renewal and access.
What happens when you cancel
Access and renewal
Cancelling stops auto-renewal for recurring subscriptions. Your paid access continues until the current billing period ends and you will not be charged again.
Account and data
Your DBeaver account remains active but paid features tied to the subscription will be disabled after expiry. Back up any work, connections, or configuration tied to paid features before access ends.
Will I get a refund?
Trial and evaluation
DBeaver offers a 14-day evaluation trial for paid editions. No payment is collected during the trial, so refunds are not applicable for trials.
Subscription refunds and exceptions
DBeaver’s public materials do not present a general consumer-facing refund policy for web purchases. Under the Enterprise Software Agreement, if DBeaver breaches a functionality warranty and cannot remedy it, the client may terminate and receive a pro-rata refund for unused subscription time if notified within the specified period. See the Enterprise Software Agreement for details: Enterprise Software Agreement.
App Store refunds
Apple issues refunds case-by-case and manages requests via its "report a problem" process. Refunds are not guaranteed; follow Apple’s billing support: Apple billing & subscriptions.
Google Play refunds
Google Play typically allows refund requests within about 48 hours of purchase via its web interface. After that, refunds are subject to Google’s discretion or developer support. See Google Play billing guidance: Google Play billing and general guidance: Google Play cancel & refund guidance.
DBeaver plans and pricing

Your consumer rights in India
Legal protections
Under Indian consumer protection law (Consumer Protection Act, 2019), digital services may be covered for claims like non-delivery or defective service. This can support refund or cancellation claims in some situations.
How to apply your rights
If you believe a paid DBeaver service was not delivered or is defective, mention your consumer-rights claim when contacting DBeaver, Apple, or Google Play. Platform-specific refund processes (Apple/Google) will still apply.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Users commonly praise DBeaver’s multi-database connectivity, clean SQL editor, and overall value. Reviews highlight usability and broad feature set. See representative reviews: Capterra.
Negative feedback
Reported issues include occasional UI freezes or performance lag on large queries, particularly on some Linux environments. Some users find the interface busy for beginners. See additional reviews: Capterra (global).
Documentation checklist
Before you contact support
- Account email used for purchase.
- Order number or transaction ID from FastSpring, Apple, or Google Play.
- Subscription name, edition (Lite/Enterprise/Ultimate) and purchase date.
When you contact support
- Screenshots of subscription status and receipts.
- Clear statement of requested outcome (cancel only, refund request, or technical remedy).
- Reference to platform (Web/FastSpring, Apple, Google Play) and any relevant policy clauses or timelines.
Common mistakes
Missing platform or order details
Example: Asking DBeaver to cancel an App Store subscription without providing the Apple order ID or using iOS Settings to cancel. Platform purchases must be managed in that platform’s billing system.
Waiting past refund windows
Example: Expecting a Google Play refund after the standard refund window (about 48 hours) without a special exception. Timing matters for platform refunds; request promptly and provide evidence.
Comparative recap
How to read this table
The table below compares where to cancel and typical refund expectations across purchase channels. Use it to identify the correct cancellation path and refund likelihood.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Where to cancel | Personal DBeaver account or FastSpring storefront | iOS Settings → Subscriptions (Apple manages) | Google Play app → Subscriptions (Google manages) | No auto-renewal; renew proactively on DBeaver site |
