What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
Cancelling stops future renewals but typically leaves your current membership benefits active until the paid period ends.
You can continue to use bid allowances and other paid features until expiry unless otherwise stated in your account.
Data and account status
Your Freelancer account and historical data are not usually deleted by simply cancelling a membership.
If you need account closure or data removal, contact Freelancer support and follow their account-closure procedures.
Will I get a refund?
General refund policy
Freelancer.com does not offer an automatic 14-day money-back or cooling-off right for digital subscription services.
Refund entitlement is therefore limited and governed by Freelancer’s own policies and the payment method used.
Exceptions and deposit refunds
- Unused deposited funds may be refundable subject to time windows: up to one year for PayPal deposits, typically 6 - 12 months for credit card deposits.
- Deposits made by Skrill, bank wire, or WebMoney generally must be withdrawn and are not refundable.
