Cancellation Instapay: Easy Method
What is Instapay
Overview
Instapay is a payments service that enables users to send and receive electronic transfers and manage an Account for payments. It operates as a digital payment platform with backend account and refund processes governed by its Terms & Conditions.
Scope of service
The publicly available Terms & Conditions describe account management, refunds, disputes, and termination procedures. The same general account rules apply whether you access Instapay via web or app, according to the provider's published terms.
How to cancel Instapay
Cancel via Customer Service
To cancel your Instapay Account or stop using the Service you must give notice by contacting Instapay Customer Service as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
Step-by-step cancellation (suggested)
- Gather account details: user name, registered email, phone number, and Account ID if available.
- Contact Instapay Customer Service and state you wish to terminate your Account or cancel the Service.
- If you have an Available Balance, provide correct bank account details for the refund payout.
- Confirm receipt of cancellation acknowledgement and any next steps from Customer Service.
- Retain the cancellation reference or correspondence until the refund and account closure are complete.
What happens when you cancel
Access and functionality
After you notify Customer Service and request termination, access to your Account may be disabled once closure begins. Pending transactions must first be settled before funds are released.
Data, records and finalisation
Instapay will process closure according to its backend procedures and Terms & Conditions. Retain records of transactions and any confirmation emails for your records and potential disputes.
Will I get a refund?
Refund of Available Balance
If you have an Available Balance when you cancel, Instapay will refund the balance to your provided bank account within 12 Business Days, provided all transactions are settled and correct bank details are given.
Refunds for cancelled or disputed transactions
- If you submit a refund request for a cancelled transaction within 2 years of the transaction date, Instapay will issue a full refund without undue delay and in any case within 7 Business Days of the request.
- For disputed transactions, you must contact Customer Service within 30 days of discovering the error. If Instapay’s investigation confirms an error, they will refund the disputed sum to your Account within 30 days.
- If Instapay terminates your Account for suspected fraud or breach, you may not be entitled to a refund of any Available Balance.

Where to check pricing
Instapay operates in multiple markets with local pricing variations. Singapore-specific fees (SGD) were not found in the public sources available to this guide.
Official source
Always confirm current plan details and fees on Instapay’s official Terms & Conditions or pricing pages before signing up or cancelling.
Your consumer rights in Singapore
General rights and timeframe
Under the provider's Terms & Conditions you may terminate your Account at any time and are entitled to a refund of any Available Balance subject to settlement and verification timeframes.
Practical steps and local remedies
If you have a problem with a payment or refund, document communications with the provider and consider contacting local consumer protection bodies or legal advisors for guidance on escalation in Singapore.
Customer experiences
Positive reports
Some users report that reversals and refunds do occur, sometimes within a day or a few days after follow-up, especially when transfers fail or are reversed by receiving banks.
Negative reports
Public reviews include complaints about slow responses from customer service and delays in transfers or reversals, with some users reporting multi-day waits and the need to chase support.
Documentation checklist
What to prepare before contacting support
- Registered account email and phone number.
- Account ID or username (if shown in app or web).
- Bank account details for refund (account name, number, bank).
- Transaction IDs, timestamps and screenshots for disputed or pending transfers.
- Copies of communications or cancellation confirmation.
Why these documents help
- They speed verification and refund processes.
- They provide evidence in the event of a dispute or escalation.
Common mistakes
Incorrect bank details
Providing wrong bank account information at cancellation delays refunds and may require additional verification to correct the payout destination.
Failing to settle pending transactions
Attempting to close an Account while transactions remain unsettled can prevent the release of Available Balance. Always confirm all transactions are complete before requesting final payout.
