What happens when you cancel
Access and confirmation
After cancellation you will usually receive an updated confirmation email or notification in the app. Keep this as proof of cancellation.
Data and renewal
Cancelling a reservation does not delete your Chope account or saved preferences unless you specifically request account removal.
Reservation holds, deposits or voucher expiries remain subject to the restaurant’s or voucher terms.
Will I get a refund?
ChopeDeals and vouchers
- ChopeDeals vouchers are strictly non-refundable and cannot be extended beyond their capped expiry (90 days).
- Always check the voucher’s terms before purchase; refunds are not available for ChopeDeals according to Chope’s shop FAQ.
Deposits and restaurant charges
- Deposits may be charged or held based on the restaurant’s cancellation policy; Chope does not hold deposit funds.
- If a refund or release of a card hold is required, contact the restaurant directly as Chope cannot process those refunds.
