Cancellation Blossom: Easy Method
What is Blossom
Overview
Blossom is a subscription-based gardening app that provides personalised plant care advice, reminders and a community for plant enthusiasts.
The service helps users track plant health, receive care schedules and access premium features via subscription.
Services included
Core features include care reminders, plant tracking and tailored recommendations based on plant type and conditions.
Premium users typically gain access to advanced tracking, extra content and priority community features.
How to cancel Blossom
iOS (App Store)
Apple controls subscriptions bought through the App Store; Blossom cannot cancel iOS subscriptions for you.
- Open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions.
- Select Blossom → tap "Cancel Subscription" or "Cancel Free Trial".
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription period ends to avoid automatic renewal.
Android (Google Play)
Google Play handles subscriptions purchased there; cancellation must be done in the Play Store.
- Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions.
- Select Blossom → tap "Cancel Subscription".
- Cancel at least 24 hours before expiry; Google manages the cancellation process.
Web (direct on Blossom site)
If you subscribed on the web, Blossom manages cancellations directly through your account page.
- Sign in to your account on the Blossom website (check your account area).
- Go to "Manage Subscription" or similar and click "Unsubscribe".
- Web cancellations are processed by Blossom and take effect per the account settings.
What happens when you cancel
Access and features
After cancelling, you generally retain premium access until the end of the paid period unless a refund is issued and processed.
For refunds that are processed immediately, Blossom may downgrade the account to the Free Plan upon refund.
Renewal and billing
Automatic renewal stops after a successful cancellation; make sure you cancel before the 24-hour cutoff for store-managed subscriptions.
Platform purchases (App Store, Google Play) follow the platform’s billing controls and timing.
Data and account
Your account and data typically remain unless you delete the account; cancelling a subscription does not necessarily delete stored plant data.
Check account settings or contact Blossom support if you require data deletion or export guidance.
Will I get a refund?
Web purchases (direct)
- Weekly and monthly web plans: eligible for refund only if requested within 20 days of the charge.
- Yearly web plans: eligible for refund only if requested within 60 days of the charge.
- Blossom issues refunds to the original payment method and may downgrade the account to Free Plan immediately on refund.
App Store and Google Play
- App Store (iOS): Apple handles refund requests - Blossom does not issue refunds for iOS purchases.
- Google Play (Android): request a refund via Google within 48 hours of purchase. If outside that window, contact Blossom for assistance.
- Platform-specific rules apply; Blossom’s ability to refund purchases made through stores is limited by store policies.
Exceptions and notes
Refunds are processed to the original payment method; timelines and eligibility depend on purchase date and platform rules.
Always keep receipts and exact charge dates when requesting refunds to verify eligibility against the stated windows.
Blossom plans and pricing
Where to check official pricing
Do not rely on third-party summaries for prices - check Blossom’s official premium page for current plans and offers.
Official pricing and plan details are available here: Blossom Premium.
Note about price changes
Prices, promotions and available plans may change over time; always confirm the plan, billing period and renewal terms before subscribing.
If you need clarification about a charge, use the receipt or billing email shown on your purchase confirmation.
Your consumer rights in Singapore
Relevant law
Singapore consumer protection laws (for example, the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act) can address unfair contract terms and deceptive practices.
Platform-specific terms (App Store, Google Play) may also affect your consumer remedies for purchases made through those stores.
Practical advice
Use precise dates when checking refund eligibility (for example, a monthly purchase on Jan 1 is ineligible after Jan 21 under a 20‑day rule).
If you believe terms are unfair or misrepresented, keep documentation and consider contacting the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) for guidance.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
Some users praise the app for straightforward setup, helpful features and smooth deposits/withdrawals in contexts where Blossom offers financial tools.
Trustpilot hosts positive reviews describing ease of use and benefits to savings growth: Trustpilot reviews.
Negative feedback
Other reports mention slow or unresponsive customer service and occasional issues when adding funds or resolving account problems.
Independent reviews note occasional reliability concerns and confusing cancellation flows; see a critical review here: CaptainFI review.
Documentation checklist
Before you cancel
- Account email address and username used for the subscription.
- Exact purchase date and platform (App Store, Google Play, or web).
- Subscription type (weekly, monthly, yearly) and last 4 digits of payment method if available.
For refund requests
- Purchase receipt or transaction ID (screenshot or email confirmation).
- Clear request stating date of charge and reason for refund.
- Any correspondence with support and screenshots showing subscription status.
Common mistakes
Timing errors
Users often miss the 24-hour cutoff for store-managed subscriptions and assume cancellation after expiry will stop the next charge.
Another common mistake is requesting a web refund after subscribing via the App Store - platform purchases must follow the platform’s refund process.
Wrong channel and missing evidence
Requesting a refund from Blossom for an App Store purchase will usually be declined because Apple controls those refunds.
Failing to keep a receipt, transaction ID or clear date makes refund eligibility harder to verify and can delay resolution.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
The table below summarises cancellation and refund handling by channel. Use it to choose the correct cancellation route.
| Method | Period | Who handles cancellation | Typical refund window |
|---|---|---|---|
| App Store (iOS) | monthly / annual | Apple (user stops subscription in App Store) | Handled by Apple; Blossom does not issue iOS refunds |
| Google Play (Android) | monthly / annual | Google (user cancels in Play Store) | Request via Google within 48 hours; Blossom may assist if outside window |
| Web (direct) | monthly / annual | Blossom (manage via account page) | Weekly/monthly: 20 days; Yearly: 60 days (from date of charge) |
