Cancellation Blossom: Easy Method
What is Blossom
Blossom is a subscription-based financial app focused on automated saving and micro-investing features that aim to help users grow short- and long-term savings. It offers platform subscriptions across web, iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) with different billing intervals and support pathways depending on where the plan was purchased.
How to cancel Blossom
- App Store (iOS): Open Subscriptions on your device → select Blossom → tap “Cancel Subscription” or “Cancel Free Trial”. Note: you must cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription expires; Apple handles the cancellation. (Source: Blossom Help Center, June 4, 2025)
- Google Play (Android): Go to Subscriptions in Google Play → select Blossom → tap “Cancel subscription” and follow instructions. Note: cancel at least 24 hours before expiry; Google handles the cancellation. (Source: Blossom Help Center, June 4, 2025)
- Website (Web): Log in at blossomplant.com → navigate to Manage Subscription → click Unsubscribe. You can cancel directly via the website. (Source: Blossom Help Center, June 4, 2025)
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel a Blossom subscription, future renewals stop at the end of the current billing period; you generally retain access to paid features until the period expires, unless a refund or immediate downgrade is applied. If a refund is granted, Blossom credits the original payment method and typically downgrades the account to the Free Plan immediately. For App Store and Google Play purchases, the platform provider’s billing system controls access and cancellations, so timing and access after cancellation may be governed by Apple or Google policies.
Will I get a refund?
Refunds depend on where and which plan you purchased. For web purchases, weekly and monthly plan refund requests must be submitted within 20 days of the charge; yearly plan refund requests must be submitted within 60 days. Apple App Store purchases are handled by Apple - Blossom does not process those refunds. Google Play refunds should be requested via Google within 48 hours; if that window has passed you should contact Blossom support. In general, valid charges are non-refundable unless specified; refunds are credited to the original payment method and, when issued by Blossom, result in an immediate downgrade to the Free Plan. Your consumer rights in Canada
Under Canadian law, Blossom’s Terms state they will honor provincial cancellation rights. For customers in Quebec, Blossom’s provisions commit to providing at least 30 days’ written notice before contract amendments and to allow cost-free cancellation within 30 days of such a change. These local protections operate alongside Blossom’s published refund and cancellation policies; if you believe your provincial consumer rights apply in a way not reflected in Blossom’s response, you may wish to escalate through local consumer protection channels. Customer experiences
Users have reported positive experiences such as strong and frequent returns on savings, easy deposits and withdrawals, no fees, transparent interfaces, and appreciation for the micro-investing and ethical-alignment features. At the same time, some users have raised concerns when Blossom’s public activity appeared quiet, which affected trust, and a few reviewers suggested the interface could be more intuitive or provide more detailed information. These mixed reviews reflect a generally positive user base alongside a small number of usability or trust-related concerns. (Source: Trustpilot reviews, Feb - Aug 2025)
Documentation checklist
- Account email and username used with Blossom
- Proof of purchase or billing receipt (web, App Store, or Google Play)
- Date and amount of the charge you are disputing
- Screenshots of subscription settings or cancellation confirmation, if available
- Any correspondence with Blossom or platform support regarding the charge
Common mistakes
One common mistake is attempting to cancel an in-app purchase from Blossom’s website rather than through the App Store or Google Play; platform-purchased subscriptions must be cancelled through their respective app stores. Another frequent issue is missing refund windows - for example, expecting a web-purchase refund after 20 days for a monthly plan or after 48 hours for a Google Play purchase; those time limits can prevent eligibility. Also, users sometimes assume cancellation is immediate access termination - often you retain access until the end of the billing period unless a refund/downgrade is applied.
Comparative recap
| Method | Refund | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Website (Web) | Web refunds: weekly/monthly requests within 20 days; yearly within 60 days. Blossom issues refunds to original payment method when eligible. | Easy (direct unsubscribe; web refund windows apply) |
| App Store (iOS) | No refunds via Blossom; Apple handles refund requests through App Store support. | Moderate (must use Apple’s process) |
| Google Play (Android) | Request refunds via Google within 48 hours; if outside that window, contact Blossom support to request assistance. | Moderate (Google handles early refunds; Blossom may assist after 48 hours) |
After cancelling
After you cancel, keep copies of confirmation messages, receipts and any support correspondence. If you purchased on the web and believe you qualify for a refund, submit your refund request within the applicable window (20 days for weekly/monthly, 60 days for yearly). For App Store purchases, request refunds from Apple via Apple Support - request a refund. For Google Play, request a refund through Google Play Help - request a refund within 48 hours, or contact Blossom support if outside that window. For account management and help articles, visit Blossom’s site at blossomplant.com or the Blossom Help Center pages referenced in their Help articles. Keep in mind provincial consumer rights (including Quebec protections) if you need to escalate.
