Cancel Mypthub: Easy Method
What is Mypthub
Overview
My PT Hub is a cloud-based platform for personal trainers, coaches and their clients to deliver workouts, nutrition plans, bookings and messaging.
It integrates with common fitness apps and payment systems and is offered as subscription plans with web and mobile access.
Who uses it
Typical users are independent trainers, small studios and online coaches who need client management, scheduling and program automation.
Clients use it to receive and track workouts, nutrition and progress from their coach or trainer.
How to cancel Mypthub
Cancel via the web app
- Log into your My PT Hub account.
- Go to Settings > General > Manage Subscription.
- Scroll to the bottom and request cancellation following the on-screen prompts.
- Reference: Help Center - Cancel subscription.
Cancel by email or through app stores
- Send a cancellation request from the email address connected to your account to support@mypthub.net.
- If you subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel the subscription through your device's subscription settings (device-specific cancellation required).
- Note: the Help Center provides web and email paths; app-store cancellations are handled through your store account, not the My PT Hub web dashboard.
What happens when you cancel
Access after cancellation
Cancellation typically stops future renewals but usually allows access until the end of the current paid period.
Confirm the exact expiry date in your account Settings or in the confirmation email from support.
Data, account and renewals
Your account data (clients, workouts, messages) normally remains linked to the account after cancellation unless you request deletion.
If you later resubscribe, your prior data may be restored; check account terms or ask support for data retention specifics.
Will I get a refund?
Official company policy
The My PT Hub subscription terms state: "Supplier does not provide credits or refunds for fees already due or paid." Early termination does not guarantee a refund.
Source: Subscription Services Agreement.
Exceptions and client refunds
- Coaches can refund their clients via Stripe by logging into the Stripe dashboard, selecting the payment and issuing the refund.
- See Stripe refund guidance: Help Center - How to refund a client.
- There is no mention in My PT Hub terms or help articles of an automatic 14-day cooling-off refund right.

Your consumer rights in New Zealand
Key rights under NZ law
Under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), services must be supplied with reasonable care and skill, fit for purpose and delivered within a reasonable time.
If a service fails substantially, consumers may be entitled to remedies such as a repair, replacement, refund or compensation.
How CGA interacts with "no refund" terms
- Company terms stating "no refunds" do not necessarily override statutory rights under the CGA if the service is faulty or fails substantially.
- If you believe a service breach occurred, you can ask the supplier to remedy it and, if refused, pursue a complaint through consumer protection channels.
- See guidance: Consumer Protection - Refunds, replacements and repairs.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
- Reviews on Capterra NZ and SoftwareAdvice NZ commonly praise ease of use, integrations (MyFitnessPal, Fitbit), templates and value for money.
- Many users highlight responsive customer support and efficient workflows for coaches.
- Sources: Capterra NZ, SoftwareAdvice NZ.
Negative feedback and issues
- Trustpilot reviews include reports of difficulty cancelling, ongoing charges after cancellation, and problems with account changes not being recognised.
- Some users describe poor customer support and app glitches; patterns across regions suggest mixed experiences with cancellation and refunds.

Documentation checklist
Essential documents to collect
- Account email address and username used to register the My PT Hub account.
- Subscription receipts, billing invoices and payment reference IDs (e.g., Stripe payment IDs).
- Copies/screenshots of cancellation confirmations, in-app messages and support emails.
Supporting evidence for disputes
- Bank or card statements showing disputed charges with dates and amounts.
- Logs or screenshots showing attempts to cancel via Settings > Manage Subscription, and any error messages.
- Correspondence with support including ticket numbers and timestamps.
Common mistakes
Assuming cancellation is immediate
Users often assume cancellation takes effect immediately and stop checking billing dates. In many cases access continues until the end of the paid term.
Always confirm the termination date in the account settings or support confirmation email.
Ignoring the subscription source
If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancelling only via the My PT Hub dashboard may not stop store billing.
Make sure you cancel in the same place you originally subscribed (device store subscriptions are managed by Apple/Google).
