Important warning regarding service limitations

Postclic is an independent third-party service, with no affiliation, partnership, or representation link with the brand The Edge. The use of the brand name is strictly for reference and descriptive purposes, in order to identify the mail recipient. Postclic exclusively offers a mail drafting assistance service and a certified, timestamped, and tracked digital mail sending service. If your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the cancellation must be done directly with those platforms.

In the interest of transparency and prevention, it is essential to recall the inherent limitations of any dematerialized sending service, even when timestamped, tracked and certified. Guarantees relate to sending and technical proof, but never to the recipient's behavior, diligence or decisions.

Please note, Postclic cannot:

  • guarantee that the recipient receives, opens or becomes aware of your e-mail.
  • guarantee that the recipient processes, accepts or executes your request.
  • guarantee the accuracy or completeness of content written by the user.
  • guarantee the validity of an incorrect or outdated address.
  • prevent the recipient from contesting the legal scope of the mail.

Cancellation The Edge: Easy Method

What is The Edge

Overview

The Edge is a subscription service offering digital access to premium content and features for users in Singapore. Subscriptions are auto-renewing and grant access to articles, downloads, and offline reading features described in the plan details.

Where subscriptions are sold

Subscriptions are sold through three channels: the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), and a web portal handled via Stripe/RevenueCat. Each channel uses its own billing and refund controls.

How to cancel The Edge

Cancel on iOS (App Store)

  • Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
  • Select "Edge Hybrid" (or "The Edge") → tap "Cancel Subscription".
  • Do not assume deleting the app cancels the subscription; it does not.
  • Edge support cannot cancel App Store subscriptions for you.

Cancel on Android (Google Play)

  • Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Select "Edge Hybrid" (or "The Edge") → tap "Cancel Subscription".
  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
  • Edge cannot cancel Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.

Cancel on Web (Stripe via RevenueCat)

  • When you subscribed on the web you received a Stripe billing-portal link - use that link to manage or cancel the subscription.
  • The billing portal lets you view invoices, change card details, change plan, or cancel future renewals.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.

What happens when you cancel

Access after cancellation

After you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of the paid billing period. Content and premium features remain available until the subscription expiry date.

Deleting the app will not end an active subscription; access continues until the billing period ends unless you cancel through the platform.

Billing and account data

  • Cancellation prevents future billing but does not remove past invoices automatically.
  • Account content and basic account settings typically remain unless you request account deletion through support.

Will I get a refund?

Apple (App Store / iOS)

Apple controls App Store refunds. To request a refund you must use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com workflow.

Edge cannot approve or decline App Store refunds; Apple makes the decision.

Google Play (Android)

Google controls refunds for Play Store purchases. Request refunds through Google Play’s refund workflow.

Edge does not control Google Play refund approvals or declines.

Web purchases (Stripe)

  • Edge may grant refunds for web (Stripe) purchases in certain valid cases if requested within 14 days of the charge.
  • Valid reasons include duplicate purchases, charges after cancellation, or technical issues that prevented use.
  • Refunds are not given for change of mind, forgetting to cancel, or unused access during the paid period.
  • Submit web refund requests to Edge support within 14 days using the documented support route.

Your consumer rights in Singapore

Web (Stripe) purchases

For web purchases handled via Stripe, Edge will consider valid refund requests within 14 days for issues such as duplicate billing, billing after cancellation, or technical failures preventing use.

Edge is not required to refund for change of mind or unused subscription time; requests must meet the stated conditions.

App Store and Google Play purchases

Refunds and billing decisions for App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by Apple and Google policies respectively.

Edge cannot directly issue or reverse refunds for purchases made through those app stores; you must follow the platform workflows.

Customer experiences

Positive feedback

Review summaries note that many users find The Edge intuitive, feature-rich, and useful for estimating or consuming content, with strong customer service reported in several places.

Feedback on platforms like Capterra and GetApp highlights ease of use, accurate estimates, and responsive support in many reviews.

Common complaints

Some users report missing features (for example undo), issues copying multiple items, or occasional glitches with rounding or database behavior.

A number of reviews mention crashes, lost content, or a steep learning curve; one user described a refused partial refund in exceptional circumstances.

Documentation checklist

What to prepare

  • Subscription receipt or invoice (from App Store, Google Play, or Stripe).
  • Date and amount of the charge you are querying.
  • Platform used to subscribe (App Store, Google Play, or Web/Stripe).
  • Account email or username tied to the subscription.
  • Screenshots of billing or the active subscription screen, if available.

How to submit

  • For App Store refunds use Apple's report form at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple controls the outcome).
  • For Google Play refunds use Google Play’s refund workflow in the Play Store (Google controls the outcome).
  • For web/Stripe refund requests submit to Edge support within 14 days with the documentation above; see the official refund & cancellation policy for details: Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Common mistakes

Deleting the app

Users often delete the app expecting the subscription to stop. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription and does not stop billing.

Always cancel via the original purchase platform (App Store, Google Play, or web billing portal).

Assuming Edge can cancel for you

Edge cannot cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions on behalf of customers; those must be cancelled in your device's store settings.

For web purchases, use the Stripe billing-portal link you received or contact Edge support as documented.
