Cancellation Plushcare: Easy Method
What is Plushcare
Overview
PlushCare is a telehealth provider that offers online primary care and mental health services through licensed clinicians. It operates primarily for U.S. patients and uses membership plans plus self-pay visit options.
Core services
Services include video visits, in-app messaging, prescription support, and lab discounts. Appointments can be same-day for many conditions and therapy sessions are available by appointment.
How to cancel Plushcare
Cancel membership by email
- To cancel a monthly or annual PlushCare membership you must email: info@plushcare.com.
- State your account details (name, email, last 4 digits of payment card), request cancellation, and ask for written confirmation.
- Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid another charge; memberships remain active until the end of the current billing term.
- Reference PlushCare's Terms when requesting cancellation: PlushCare Terms of Use.
Appointment cancellations and in-app subscriptions
- Appointment cancellations are handled in your account or via the appointment interface; they are free if made at least 2 hours before the visit.
- There is no option to cancel the PlushCare membership through the App Store or Google Play - subscription management is done directly through PlushCare (see Postclic summary): App-store cancellation note.
- If you need help confirming cancellation, include a screenshot of your account page and all related communications in your email to info@plushcare.com.
What happens when you cancel
Access and billing
After you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion in typical cases.
If PlushCare terminates access for reasons other than your breach, their Terms state they will provide a pro-rata refund of membership fees paid.
Records and appointments
Existing scheduled appointments remain subject to the appointment cancellation policy (free if canceled ≥2 hours; otherwise a $75 late-cancellation/no-show fee may apply).
Keep copies of visit summaries, prescriptions, and billing receipts for your records before or after cancellation.
Will I get a refund?
Membership refund policy
PlushCare’s standard terms state membership fees are non-refundable if you cancel mid-term; there is no general 14-day cooling-off refund provided in their published Terms.
Because PlushCare’s policies are U.S.-centric, you should confirm local consumer protections in Singapore (see the consumer rights section below).
Appointment refunds and exceptions
- Full refunds for appointments may be issued in specific situations: PlushCare cannot treat or assess you, connectivity problems prevented the visit, the provider fails to appear within 10 minutes, or insurance/licensing issues prevent legal consultation.
- No refunds are issued when a clinical assessment was completed, even if the outcome was lab referrals or medical advice.
- Prescription sales or returns are final and non-refundable under the Refund Policy.
- See PlushCare's published Refund Policy for details: PlushCare Refund Policy.

Your consumer rights in Singapore
Local protections to consider
PlushCare’s published policies are U.S.-centric and do not explicitly provide for statutory cooling-off periods used elsewhere.
Consumers in Singapore may have rights under local distance-selling or digital subscription laws that could override PlushCare’s stated no-refund policy.
Recommended actions in Singapore
- Retain documentation: receipts, confirmation emails, screenshots, and payment records.
- If PlushCare refuses a legitimate refund or cancellation, escalate through Singapore consumer-protection channels or seek local legal advice.
- Request written reasons from PlushCare if they deny a refund; this will help if you lodge a complaint with local authorities.
Customer experiences
Positive feedback
- Many users appreciate same-day appointment availability and easy scheduling.
- Providers are often described as attentive and efficient in consultations.
- Examples of positive mentions are noted in independent reviews: Sustainable Food Trade review.
Common complaints
- Frequent issues reported include unclear billing, trouble with insurance claims, and delays in prescriptions.
- Several reviewers report difficulty canceling memberships, surprise recurring charges, and poor customer support; see Sitejabber summaries: Sitejabber reviews.
Documentation checklist
What to collect before you cancel
- Account email and username, last 4 digits of payment card, and date of last charge.
- Membership receipts, subscription confirmation, and renewal date information.
- Appointment IDs, visit summaries, screenshots of account/subscription pages.
What to keep after cancellation
- Written confirmation of cancellation from PlushCare (email or support ticket).
- Bank or card statements showing charges and any refunded amounts.
- All correspondence with PlushCare support and provider notes.
Common mistakes
Attempting to cancel through app stores
Many users try to cancel via the App Store or Google Play. This will not cancel a PlushCare membership because subscription management is done directly through PlushCare.
Always email info@plushcare.com and retain the response as proof of cancellation.
Missing the renewal window or confirmation
Waiting until after renewal to request cancellation often results in another charge because cancellation must occur before renewal to avoid further billing.
Another common error is not saving the written cancellation confirmation; without it disputes are harder to resolve.
Comparative recap
Quick comparison
The table below compares key points: membership cancellation, appointment cancellation, and refund likelihood.
Recap table
| Feature | Membership cancellation | Appointment cancellation | Refunds |
|---|---|---|---|
| How to cancel | Email info@plushcare.com; no app-store cancellation | Cancel in-account or via appointment interface | Memberships generally non-refundable; appointment refunds in specific cases |
| Timing | Must cancel before renewal to avoid new billing; access until term end | Free if ≥2 hours before; within 2 hours = $75 fee | Refunds given for provider no-show, connectivity or licensing issues |
| Ease of dispute | Users report difficulty getting cancellations confirmed | Standard late-cancellation/no-show fee enforcement reported | Keep documentation; escalate to consumer authorities if needed |
After cancelling
Follow-up steps
